OZARK [A Netflix Original Series | Season 3 | 2019??]

Finished up the show. I was not disappointed and I'm going to miss it so much.

Ruth is a great character but it was obvious she needed to go
Yeah I never had sympathy for her character. She was as terrible as anyone else.

Just wrapped it up.

I swear if they said “we’re so close” one more time this season I was gonna quit watching :smh:

Can’t believe they did the homies Nelson and Navarro like that :smh:

Maya should’ve been killed too

Crazy that the Byrds made it through this completely unscathed (I don’t care about Bens dumbass, I mean their nuclear family).

Mel was a lesser Petty and completely pointless to the show, Jonah was such a dweeb to have it end like that

Seemed like Marty became a minor character in that 4th season.

The scene where Wendy was in the treatment facility and then smiling in the van after because she got her way really made me want her to die. I hope them kids never love her again

Wish Three would’ve been in the show more. He would technically take over some of the Missouri Belle right?

Alllllll the callbacks to season 1 that completely went over my head.

Nah I was sympathetic to her plight, everyone deserves a shot at a decent life. She was the way she was because of her upbringing and couldn't see that normalcy was possible until it was too late to outrun her mistakes.
I just didn’t care for how brash she was to everyone in almost every situation. I get that it’s rooted in other things but watching the same behavior for five seasons didn’t help.

She got progressively more irritating as the seasons went by which is why she had to die.

It was cute as first but you can't be talking reckless to dangerous people without repercussions.

I still wanna know if Three ends up owning part of the casino since Ruth is dead. That would be good for him to be set up with.

They could easily do a spin off with Jonah (but get a less dweeby actor for gods sakes)

yea 3 def is the part owner......if I were him i'd chill In Miami and collect checks.....dont make ruths mistake get out of town!

ok this just made the ending and series finale so much better for me
all this stuff went wayyyyy over my head

Yeah even if I still feel a bit underwhelmed...seeing how they tied everything back in makes the ending make more sense to me now. There's **** I had just completely forgotten about or never even noticed (i.e - the symbolism of the trampoline). I also was wondering what the hell the scene of Ruth seeing the bobcats loose in Chicago meant.

Them losing there kids is so satisfying, Marty being a ***** the entire series and his kids realizing that he will never grow a pair. Wendy looking like a total buffoon on the stairs begging to her dad because she finally didn't get what she wanted. I got so tired of them just having the ultimate cheat code entire series. Even if it doesn't last I enjoy this moment of her begging. Dumb *****. She so busy trying to control and manipulate everything, meanwhile kids slipping right through her fingers.

Ruth really getting two kitchens just to have somewhere to keep her beer. SMH. Get a mini fridge

There were certain things that I didn’t care for in all of season 4 but I thought it ended well.

Loved the ending

Loved Ruth getting clapped.

Loved Marty and Wendy smiling and nodding as Jonah lit Mel up

Wendy shoulda been offed and Ruth get the happy ending.

I don't think its about requiring a sad ending......I think lot of times the audience is expecting someone of importance to die.......especially to a family that quite frankly deserves some loss.......people want and expected wendy because she is cold/ruthless, how many people did she get killed on the show other than her bro? it wouldnt have been sad had wendy died.....its sad that ruth died..

jonah? lets not forget dude just killed a 100% innocent man....

they get to leave the ozarks and go to chicago better than when they first left Chicago....their family whole, stronger....while the best of the langmores killed ruth and wyatt......
Some of y’all just identified or favored the wrong characters for the wrong reasons.

Show ain’t never been about ppl getting what they deserve.

It just reenforces that rich people can get away with just about anything and poor people can’t make it out

Byrds walked away unscathed (F*ck Ben, he wasn’t a loss)

Langmores all wiped out just as they start making lives for themselves

I mean that is a theme of the show. The duality between the Byrds and Langmores.

Ruth definitely had the opportunity.

So when does season 5 come out? Cause I KNOW that wasn't the damb series finale. No way. It had a great season finale... but REALLY? The levels of fallout from murdering a Chicago cop is magnitudes larger than a drifter with mental health issues. Not to mention all the other bodies dropping.

Lots of thoughts on the final season. Was interested in the cartel storyline, couldn't give a fraction of a **** about the Ben storyline. They spent 2 seasons with the show revolving around him. The main character's wife's brother. Would have preferred they didn't bring in Wendy's dad just to "turn the kids against" her and spend so much time on angsty family drama.
Idk, I got exhausted with Wendy and her family quick - Marty could have avoided all this drama if he just let Del kill her in the first episode when she was ******* that fat man in the skyrise. Could have run an empire without distractions and angry kids. C'est la vie.

Ruth was hard done and felt bad for her, but as she said the whole time - her family is cursed. Nobody has a happy ending there. Hope Three can get out but if I had to guess he falls into Marty and Wendy's sights eventually, through the casino. Rachel being shoehorned back into the story ended up not being as jarring as I thought it would when she showed up.

Idk, overall, I'm not satisfied with the end. If there was another season, or even a couple episodes, things could have been tied up so much cleaner.

^ I wanted to see one more episode at least on a follow up on how things end up.. Three. Cartel. Shaw medical. Casino. What’s her name that came back. The cop being killed.

Best case we get something similar to El Camino but idk if Ozark is being enough to get that treatment.

There could’ve been more show to tell but they wanted to leave on a high note.
