Go tell your grandmother you spent $300 on some OG Jordan IVs and see what she thinks of that.  All she hears is "old gym shoes."  (Not saying you personally, but you get my point.)

Welcome to the world of fashion ninja hood

Wake up thats how name brands work decent cloths with a logo on it and they charge $300

A polo shirt cost $80 or more because it has a horse man on it thats how it works

people will pay anything for name brands

that example would hold weight if:

A. it was deadstock (which i give credit alot of this stuff is)

B. it was unmolested and its in original condition (which it isn't)

which leads me to my second question...most of this stuff is ROTTING in mom and pop sporting goods spots all over da US, i personally know of 2 spots in NJ where

i can dig for old stuff like this to my hearts desire. but it seems to me that da incentive of these going for premium is that logo...now im not

out da loop, i know exactly who that is, but da idea is like me getting a pair of DS foamposites, "tagging it with my name" and charging da next man 300% is hilarious

to me even though my "contribution" to da final product has ziltch to do why da aforementioned is so coveted in da first place.....

Damn, you just put me on game, I thought they had a license or something. They're ruining the value by sewing the name on it. The only person that got away with tagging shoes was Meth.

I was browsing eBay and I saw some duke trying to sell these super fake jordans.  So I messaged him asking him if they are real.
laugh.gif

Me:Are these authentic?

Him:Yes, they are authentic. They come in the
original box.

Me:Are you sure these are authentic? Do they come with the original retro card like all Air Jordans do?
Also I've never seen that colorway before. Why is that?

Him:Yes, they do come with the Retro card. I tried to
get it in the picture. The top of the box has
Michael Jordan facial image on it. The shoe laces
have the Air Jordan symbol on the little easy
release clip. I am sure you will be happy with
them. I know I will if nobody buys them because I
will wear them to the gym when my knee is
better.

Duke wants $110 for these.

For real though.

I just messaged duke with this.

They look kind of cool but my friend says that they are fake.
How do I know for sure that these are real?
I've never seen that colorway in stores or online on other sneaker sites.

soon as i saw a couple of da hipsters with these old snap back with a foreign logo stamped on it i knew there a ruse was being played...me being a avid

sports fan, plus me being a resourceful NTer, & being familar with thunderchunk's snapback peddling i compared and contrasted both respective inventories for

matching hats.....

now off top there's no way i'd rock snapback hats anyways but when you compound da fact that your charging a extra arm & leg just for that ti$a logo just makes

me cringe.
