Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

And we wonder why there are so many sequels/reboots/remakes etc.

When these studios see what kind of numbers these pull these movies will forever get made. I mean Moana 2 is prolly gonna make a killing this week.

Happy 30th anniversary to The Pagemaster. Certified classic. I used to be scared watching this :lol

Gladiator 2 was underwhelming to say the least. I was legit fighting falling asleep at points. The arena battles were all meh. The water one that was teased and looked awesome was forgettable, like most of the movie.

Denzel of course killed it though.

Watching inglorious basterds as it’s tradition at this point.

In the bar where Magneto gets called out for his accent, anyone here familiar with how different it sounds to them? As in English terms. Like obviously a Cali English accent is way different then a south Florida one. I want to gauge how different he really was.

MI3 is my favorite of the MI series, my people—Fallout sucks. Bring me Cavill reloading his knucks and people stopping helicopters with their arm strength all day, another time... when human strength is actually on that world.

PSH in this scene, going from groggy to I’m going to absolutely find out who you are and take apart everything you love… is what I appreciate… it’s the acting

correct. this is arguably the best in the series and because PSH was so goated at being bad. He was unreal.

Question... but context first.

As mentioned a couple years ago (I think), I've never seen any of the Bond movies.
There's no way I'm watching all 97 of them.
If i looked it up right, it looks like Pierce Brosnan has 4 and Daniel Craig has 5.
Sound about right?
I'll just jump in from Pierce Brosnan's 1st. Goldeneye, right?

I'm caught up on Wick up to 4.

Ssssooooo for tonight:
Goldeneye or John Wick 4?
Goldeneye gang.

Just got back home from Wicked...I'm damn near speechless, what an incredible film and experience. That supplants Dune 2 as the best movie I've seen this year, the visuals, numbers and acting was all top tier.

8/8!
exactly good bruva. It's one of the best movies I've seen. It was an experience.

You know when they talk about favorite childhood movies….this legit is one of them, that I always forget I love. Love, love, love this movie man.

**** was def creepy :lol. Bout to see if I can find it on stream

Word, I remember watching it like 50-leven times as a kid and then Disney went on their all time epic animated run and this film was kinda forgotten. I think it came out the same time as Lion King.

Lemme know if you find it, I really wanna watch it too

Real ****. Those prime Disney movies caused a lot gems like these were relegated to the VHS bins of the world. Remember “Balto”? Another good movie that came out at the same time that was a box office bomb, that’s forgotten about now. Both on 30 million dollar budgets that returned around 10 mill at the box office

Macaulay was scorching hot at this time tho man. Really outstanding actor. This was right before he took his hiatus too.

And It’s on Prime bro!

I’m sure in different parts there are different dialects like you’re saying, even if they’re slight. The guy was suspicious which is why I think so, but he wasn’t convinced until the way he held up 3 fingers in the way he did.

Looking at this graphic, I’m realizing that I’ve never seen Resurrection. I gotta get on that.
Resurrection is only worth it because of Winona Ryder, and maybe maaaybe Ron Pearlman if you have seen enough of him. The movie is not good but I’d watch it if you like the series.
