Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Gladiator II

Whoever on Twitter said Paul Mescal is a good may-be great actor, but not a leading man [of other movies] is right I think. His speeches in those movie, I counted three, were phenomenal. He also had as many unintentionally funny moments, I can describe them if asked but if you noticed them, you and I are the same.

Gonna start using this Denzel line to sucker people into bets: Okay I won, “Let’s Double it and if I lose, call it quits”… would work on any sucker

Pedro wearing the Lannister colors right from the beginning… ICU

Pox face ***** *** little twin, laughed when he said his brother was trying to steal his umbilical cord and Denzel was like, “you recall that? Hmm”

Those two white dogs, might be my next dog

Lucius mom looked pretty good for 24 years later, was impressed by ma

Ravi, Alexander Karim, was my favorite performance by far

Lucius’ wife had them Jennifer Connelly eyes, I saw it

The Hound from GOT was in it, you can’t get that past me, ever. Sad he didn’t get any shine.

From a technical standpoint this movie is better than the last, and there are moments that are spectacular, but it’s not better than the first.

6/8

I was interested in Mescal. Crowe blew up, maybe he will but I'm not positive of it yet. He did well tho.

I agree the Dr was great.

Denzel is Denzel. I never doubted him.

The water scene was strange but also awesome. If you can live with monkey's, you can live with the water. Despite how crazy it would be to pull that off.

This is what it looks like to be in your own element

Yeah I have a lot of questions about the “Naval Battle” scene. First of all it, it sucked. Was completely overdrawn in the trailer.

Secondly, salt water and digging a hole in the coliseum—I have to think they traversed these sharks by putting them in glass cages of salt water and transported them, as ridiculous as all that is and what I’m about to say, so I’ll leave that part alone, f it I’m gonna ask A LOT of questions:

How did you dig a hole in the coliseum without water seeping out? How did you dig a hole large enough to actually put salt water and sharks in it and invite fans back…. And then return it to its natural dusty sandy ***** interior.

I am calling BS on the naval ****. :lol

I don't think you saw the whole picture, boss.

I was saying that I'm a step ahead of you and I had already checked that before I asked.

So for toight:
John Wick 4 or Goldeneye?

I just watched Goldeneye last week and it holds up.

Some of the early ones are great too - you definitely want to watch the Connery ones.

Don’t find it funny at all. Having said that: This is the result of firing Tim Burton. FIRING him after his work on Batman Returns.

Imagine being terminated for doing a good job. Wild stuff. You want a so-called “lighter” Batman film? (Whatever the **** that means) Well, that’s exactly what you’ll get.

An average-at-best, inferior goof fest

I had Batman Forever on VHS and it was the best thing ever for 9 year old me.

I would like to just watch the Jim Carrey scenes in Batman Forever, hopefully there's a supercut

I don't need in the first 5 minutes Val Kilmer telling me he's going to get drive-thru fast food

Speak to text so pardon any confusion. Saul Wicked today in IMAX and it is absolutely breathtaking. I feel like it wasn't that much of a musical for musicals. It clearly was, but perhaps the fantastical setting made the costumes and dancing and singing more accessible. I don't know but the colors were vibrant and Chris. The set design and costumes were ******* outrageous. The music itself was strong. The singing was great. The acting was on point like I didn't think we would be discussing Future Academy award winner. Ariana Grande but I feel like she'll be nominated the OG's popping up. The way they did was cool too. And the pacing for a 2 and 1/2 hour movie that was a part 1 of part 2 was done really well. It was just really exceptional filmmaking. It was funny too man like I saw it with the family but I think I might see it again on my own. It'll probably be really popping sound and visually and Dolby as well like it even got me to care about the political mechanism of arts like I was fascinated by it of Oz. Not arts 95 out of 100

Listen......this episode of Lioness :eek :hat

My God this series is TENSE. This is incredible stuff. I thought Yellowstone was his bag, naw, this is. Dude got Morgan Freeman F-bombing white house meetings and has me like

I don’t think you genuinely care to find out.

Considering, the only time you ever quote my posts is not because you sincerely desire stimulating conversation, but simply an opportunity to argue
In short: you're wrong.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don't waste time asking questions I don't care about the answer to.

I love and live for stimulating conversation. Have you ever considered that maybe I don't quote you much because you don't provide stimulating conversation?

Consider this very conversation. Given the opportunity to move the conversation forward with a simple answer on what you find funny, we are... here.
Stimulating? I think not.
I probably shouldn't have tried to have a stimulating conversation with you. That's not really your thing. And that's fine, but it's not.

Anyways, I'm a huge fan and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the day and an awesome week. 🔥

I never doubted that. You just don’t like talking to me

Then why should I waste my time answering someone who couldn’t care less what I think?

I didn’t answer only because I thought you were looking to argue. I reckon the folks who visit this thread would much rather read insightful movie reviews than unnecessary bickering between us.

Why? I would be more than happy to have a normal talk with you.

That’s very kind of you. I wish you the same
