calibeebee I think I’ve come to the conclusion that I happen to be pretty fond of movies that achieve cult following.
Like for example, if you look up Super Mario Bros. (1993) on wikipedia, the article will mention that the film has a cult following.
A handful of other movies with a lot going for them have also appeared to have achieved cult status.
For example, I was looking at a list on Imdb titled “90’s Cult Classics,” and it contains a lot of movies that we both like.
Big big fan of most cult classics. There are a few exceptions, like Howard the Duck, for example. But for the most part, they are my cup of tea. I’m gonna have to revisit some of the 90’s cult classics
I actually want to watch Howard the Duck. I think Lucas was involved of something? Or Lucas wanted John Landis to direct? Also, wasn’t Lucas so dissatisfied with the project that he disowned it or something?

My thoughts also. From the trailer I at least thought they were gonna break out of the asylum and go on a crime spree. Movie wasn't terrible but them breaking into music dreams at odd times really ruined the vibe and pacing for me.

Yeah not sure about the whole story. It was definitely a George Lucas project. He is still credited with executive producer, but yeah I’m pretty sure every decision was his going into this.
