Lmaoo this is so real in relationships. Once the pendulum shifts to the one who was deemed less attractive, the partner becomes so insecure

Actually its Death Proof, but Pulp Fiction is a close second. Very close. Is Pulp Fiction your favorite Tarantino movie?
C CP1708 Did the thread get a title change? For the longest time, I’ve read it as: Oh I’m sorry, did I break your concentration?
In the title, did the word concentration get changed to conversation? Or was it always conversation?
I can’t tell if the title was changed, or my mind is just playing tricks on me. Lol, thanks

It was in here.Am I trippin, or was there a topic in here recently, “Rank your top 5 space pilots” or something to that effect? My days and social media outlets are blending together
I see, thank youI haven't been able to edit any of my threads for about a year and a half.
But no, the title for this one hasn't changed in several years.
Many, many moons ago, this thread existed in the Sports area of Niketalk. It started out as a thread about sports movies, but there’s a pretty limited number of those, so it became a thread about movies in general. It had a pretty basic, straightforward name like the “Sports Movie” thread or something similar.I see, thank you

Went on that way for quite a while, but then came along NT member who was an agent of negativity, causing trouble in many threads, and he made it an issue with NT management that we had a movie thread in the Sports forum that only very sporadically involved sports. So, the thread was required to move into the General area. That’s when the name change happened.
IIRC, the regulars in the thread discussed it and came to the consensus it would be better to call the thread something discrete and not just “NT Movie Thread” and so the “Oh, I’m Sorry …” title was created. It has always had “conversation” in it.
That’s how Old Uncle-pappy lawdog1 remembers things. I invite any of the other old timers to let me know if I got anything wrong.
Basterds is my top QT movie
Ska--Pulp Fiction intervention, pages 21-23
From 2011!I admit, I use "must see" too much. That's a habit
A message.Do you guys realize how little you have actually said about this movie in the course of all these replies?
*edit* Big J gets where I'm coming from. Dear god, in all the discussions I've had about this damn movie, that's the most I've learned about the movie other than just reading the back of the DVD case.
But yeah, the rest of you, go look for yourself. All you've all basically said is the same thing everyone says:
"You have to see it!"
"It's a great movie!"
"It's Tarantino at his finest!"
"So many quotes!"
Name some. I can dig a good quote.
'You were the chosen one!'
'Do you feel lucky, punk?'
'Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.'
'How ya like them apples?'
But the vague responses of disbelief and shock aren't very convincing. And this dialogue is typical of what happens whenever I mention to a group that I haven't seen this freaking movie: buncha popped eyebrows followed by descriptions of nothing and questions from me left on the table, touched by no one.
So it's a good story, enh? What's it even about?
All I know is Travolta and Samuel L. are badasses.
And there's drugs.
And fighting.
Well whoop-dee-GD-do.
This guy still around? Because we need more of THAT energy.nobody should have ever told you that scarface is one of the best movies ever made.
It's an over the top gangster movie and it always was. It had terrible reviews when it came out.
Add on the scene with the braces, for me
