I hear you. As straight (or is cisgender the appropriate term?) males, the pronoun thing isn’t something most of us even think about for ourselves, so it just seems a little extra for it to be a big deal to others. I remind myself I don’t know what it’s like to be someone that’s a serious issue for, so I just try to respect others’ preferences and not judge.
That said, my firm is now encouraging people to put their preferred pronouns in their e-mail signature blocks and I don’t intend to do it. I’ll run the risk someone calls me the wrong thing.

I’ve been on a kick where I don’t want to watch any New Film or Series. This year I’ve watched probably 50-60 Films that I’ve seen already, from Bring it On to Glory to Antwone Fisher.
Coolest thing about this is you find Actors/Actresses that were only extras then that are full blown super stars now.
I forgot Denzel character was married to the Queen Salli Richardson.
Derek Luke’s crush in the film was the beautiful Joy Bryant(wish she got more roles).
Hell, Antowone Fisher’s long lost Mother was none other than Viola Davis.

exact same for me, but mostly because 2020 was a non-movie year pretty much. I maybe watched 10 new films total?
I watch at least 1 older movie every single night. Last night was knights tale. I completely forgot Robert Baratheon was in this. Also a young Vision!

Man it’s clear Eddie Murphy wanted no parts of doing a film. I don’t think it was Coming To America, I think it’s in General. Not sure if they made him do this or he agreed but it’s clear his commitment to Prince Akeem is Zero. That accent is absolutely horrible.

On the flip side, Eddie is so wealthy now he doesn't care what anyone says about his acting or comedy. This sequel may as well have been an excuse to have a reunion with old friends and make money off it.
