It's a big problem in all of media that's been normalized. Allen's just another example of it.Woody Allen yikes. Keeps getting worse. Didn't know much about his work, but the older male-underrage/young female dynamic in his films yikes yikes yikes.
Thinking back to Woody saying he doesn't cast black people, he just casts the roles has me annoyed. The man has filmed in NYC of all places for 40 years, and claims to be affiliated to black orgs and people in real life and none of that inspired him to include them?

This stuff is common as far back as black.and white westerns.
Oh yuck.It being connected to an actual case(s) of pedophilia is what made it creepier/eerier to me.
Like Kevin Spacey's role in Iron Will. Using his wealth and power to purchase Will. Getting him drunk. The line "don't get soft on me kid."
The foreshadowing is what I'm referring to, not the mere fact that older dudes want to bang barely legal girls.
See if he had any black friends they would've told him it looks pretty racist you have no black ppl in your movies over a 40 year career WoodyI bet he literally doesn’t have 1 single black friend to even justify him saying, “I can’t be racist, I have black friends.”
Sick dude. How this dude who's been anti marriage rush to marry this young girl as clearly a way to cover his ***.It being connected to an actual case(s) of pedophilia is what made it creepier/eerier to me.

Pedophilia has been in hollywood since the beginning.Woody Allen yikes. Keeps getting worse. Didn't know much about his work, but the older male-underrage/young female dynamic in his films yikes yikes yikes.

Alot of sick **** goes on in hollywood behind the glitz and glamour
For whatever reason, I just started noticing how prevalent it is in pop music too. Bunch of rock and R&B songs, primarily made between the 50s-80s, have references to guys hooking up with teenage girls. It’s even right in the title of some songs, like Steely Dan’s “Hey Nineteen”.
It feels like we’ve reached that significant point in the production and release cycle, where lack of productions are critically hurting release schedules for all these TV shows. Yeah, ultimately it feels like this started in November but is really peaking now.
New seasons/new series seem like they’re at an all-time low point. We need that ****, or else I’m gonna keep this “going back to 70s-90s movies I never saw.” thing going indefinitely
