Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

I just caught some of the NBC and FOX upcoming shows previews. Basically 1-2 min promos giving you the idea of the show on demand. Some were trailers

 :smh: :x

NBC only had a few available but I couldn't rock with most. I had already posted the Blindspot vid in here.

The Player has an absurd premise but has a lot of action. Plus my boy Wesley Snipes aint even the main character. There's a crappy doctor show by my girl Melissa George. Then a comedy with Zack from Saved by the Bell where his babysitter is an actual porn star.

Fox had the real stinkers though. John Stamos show, this Frankenstein show where this old man gets a young body and solves his murder, Rob Lowe show, and some other crap.

What made me laugh in knowing some of these were doomed for cancellation is an actress I recognize from guest starring on New Girl is in the main cast for a show on NBC and FOX.

About to watch..

^ be prepared to hate a woman just as much or more than ginger from casino.. Or Jenny from forest gump

Christmas Vacation is quoted non-stop around Christmas in my family... has been for YEARS.

Wait up, this whole time the chick in those Percy Jackson movies was somehow a flat chested (or cleverly disguising how big her boobs was) Alex Daddario? :nerd:

Silicon Valley definitely my favorite HBO comedy since early Entourage. This season has been great.

So, a couple of things...last weeks episode of Penny Dreadful where Miss Ives was in "witch training", that was set a while back right? Not currently?
I ask because of they way tonights show started with her telling the story to Ethan and Sir Malcom.

I suppose I could just finish watching the show and have my answer but here's the problem, I have to wait 30 minutes for the next showing because my DVR only recorded 2 minutes of the show and then cut off.

Also to be noted, the way they start out this ep with Sir Malcom asking "and then", was brilliant.

I found it impressive and well thought out, such a great continuation.

Finally started season 2 of Silicon Valley.

The part where they are being rude to the companies giving them offers and Richard is like "let me be rude in te next meeting"

He gives his presentation and then says "and if you don't sign us, you're f word s words"

Suzanne Cryer is genius as the new AR of Raviga. Her characters speech pattern is great. Show is nuts. On to ep 2, might catch up on the next 14 eps before sleep.

I need to get back into the show. Only watched the first episode then gave up on the show.

Im still in search for a new tv show to watch after I get done with the first season of the following(heard it is the only season worth watching)

The witch training ep began with her telling it to Ethan.

It ended still in the flashback for w/e reason.

The start of the next ep I guess you're just suppose to assume Sir Malcolm showed up while she was telling the story

1000
See I never watched the movie. Never really in to it, wrote it off as a flick trying to eat off the Harry Potter buzz but I had it on in the background yesterday and took a good look at the girl cuz I happened to notice Uma Thurman and Rosario Dawson in it and was like is that Daddario? How? Mad frumpy clothes hiding those tig ol bitties  I thought Percy Jackson was getting that True Detective action.

For anyone just watching kingsman.. Please tell me how those idiots at fox didn't think it was a good to just give the x-men franchise to Vaughn

He already had kick***** under his belt and layer cake (and the movies he did with Ritchie).. But somehow giving back to singer after superman returns and jack the giant slayer was a great idea

Could have gone with Vaughn and the real original x-men (beast, iceman, angel, cyclops and Jean).. Still have magneto in it, but introduce his family if you're still intent on messing with marvel

Watched Kingsman yesterday. Liked it. Roxy and Gazelle looking good. Him collecting his reward with that royal girl at the end was a boss move.

I'm officially not getting married because of Gone Girl

Return To Sender (Rosamund Pike) looks good too.

The ending to Enemy was weird because I didn't see the spider in the beginning, had to look it up to make sense of the movie actually.

Ex Machina was unique.
