fan-made (i think?) trailer featuring different scenes and also a bit of the amazing score from Her.

Saw Her this weekend and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised.  Thought the movie was brilliant.  From the way it was shot, to the acting, to the score....it was a VERY well done movie.  Highly recommended.

That was movie number two for me this week.

God it was brilliant. I loved ScarJo in this. She was PHENOMENAL.

Don't have time to elaborate, but also saw American Hustle. Will preach on it later.

Watching Wolf of Wall Street made American Hustle seem like a snooze fest.

Outside of the performances, I can't even really remember that many memorable scenes from AH.

Wolf though... ALL 3 HOURS WERE MEMORABLE. I wanna watch it over and over again. :lol

I never in my life thought a 3 hour movie could stay so hilarious and entertaining all the way throughout.

Bravo to Leo, Bravo to Scorsese, even Bravo to Jonah Hill. Great job by everyone on this flick. Absolutely awesome movie :hat

I saw Her today. Thought it was a good movie but so damn weird to me. I will probably never watch it again.

This thread is almost 3 years old :eek :hat

Watched 50/50 today for the first time. I thought it was pretty good...thought it could have been a little longer to add more at the end, but overall I enjoyed it

The Words was very good. Jeremy Irons. :hat

I could listen to that guy tell stories all day.

Jared Leto has already won 26 awards for Dallas Buyers Club.. he's probably the only sure ticket for the Oscar.. Fassbender was great in his supporting role in 12 years as well props to him. Also, if J.Law wins her second Oscar in two years for her performance in AH its an outrage.. and overhype

Yes. Said it earlier in this thread. Very, very good. I probably could've just watched an entire of movie of Irons narrating the life of that kid through the war and the rest of his life :smokin

About to give Dallas Buyers a watch.

edit: I surprisingly enjoyed the Words too., held my attention throughout even though I felt they concentrated on the old man's story a bit much (I guess they had to since it was HIS story, but yeah)

Her, The spectacular now, Lone Survivor, short term 12, Dallas buyers...
I only have enough time to watch one or maybe two if I'm lucky the next few days...

Which one should I watch next? 8o

I chose Lone Survivor.

Watched the first 15 minutes before work.
Now I can't wait until I get home tonight to finish, I was already extremely entertained.

Why would you start knowing you couldn't finish till later? :lol

Travesty if Nyong'o doesn't win.

Not something I ever do, but I couldn't help it. :lol literally got my gym, shower, breakfast all out of the way quickly and it was either start a movie or spend 15 minutes staring at the clock.

I didn't expect 15 minutes to hook me that strongly. :lol

Damnit. Now times going super slow at work :{
