yeah man that must have been it since they were proj. 500,000 copies sold in the first week, also Kanye had a whole top rack, while j.cole/Mac had two rows, im also questionable about my area's music taste its wild

Def jam probably also shipped so many Yeezus albums so they could fill up lot's of rows & get more people's attention. Most people I know had no idea Kanye was releasing a new album.

bought my copy at target looked at the shelve J.cole was sold out both regular and deluxe copies, so was Mac millers album, then you see a sea of clear plastic jewel cases. wasnt very surprise tho, maybe a little, as soon as i put this in my car it was an ear orgasm the base/production sounded crazy and much better than the leaked version, that I'm God ending its creepy some demonic ****. gave me chills :x . overall album its not too bad great production but the lyrics aint there even tho he was never a great lyricist just had good word play, but its not his best imo. CD>LT>Graduation>808's>MBDTBF>WTT>Yeezus

At best buy they had about 15 copies of macmiller with alotta jcole and a ******** of kanye.

was planning on buying the album, but after listening to the leaked version I am going to pass. Don't think the album is bad, its just not a album I would listen to over and over again like his last one.

imo j.cole was a disappointment also, i was expecting something similar to TWU /FNL or better lyric and story wise, i think dude hit a plateau, like he is running out of things to say, its the same **** every time, hopefully he comes back strong next time

Cole's project kind of disappointed me because his sound has not really changed since Friday Night Lights. Something that ironically you can't ever say for a Ye project.

He didn't change it up lyrically nor production-wise.

Was personally disappointed because of that Get Free freestyle, thought he was changing up his style until I found out it was a Diplo song he just rapped over.

I'm sure some of y'all don't care about artists progressing and I'm sure I won't even care in a few months when my iPod is on shuffle and a random song from BS comes on . . . I just wish he put effort into his projects sounding at least a little different from the last.
