OFFICIAL Ye fka "kanYe West" x G.O.O.D. Music Thread - ¥$ (AKA YE X TY DOLLA SIGN) - VULTURES 2 (NOW AVAILABLE sorta)

These are the differences on the iTunes version. I got this from another site:

1. ON SIGHT - Sounds smoother and polished, sample break sounds better, less grainy and coarse than leak.

2. BLK SKN HEAD - Lupe/Cyhi says first line then Ye comes in, screams are more pronounced, sounds crisper.

3. I AM A GOD - More polished, little detail noises more noticeable.

4. NEW SLAVES - Seems to hit harder, outro sounds cleaned up and more CDQ-esque.

5. HOLD MY LIQUOR - WAAYYYYYY more polished IMO, sex to my ears 9bh.

6. I'M IN IT - more polished, clearer, crisper.

7. BLOOD ON THE LEAVES - more polished, clearer, crisper, and ending sounds more emotional with cleaned up mixing.

8. GUILT TRIP - noticeably more polished, doesn't sound as wonky at parts - especially the beginning, his voice is better mixed into the beat, and the ending with the orchestration is even better, the little detail futuristic sounds pop better too.

9. SEND IT UP - the prince line is now without the beat - makes it more dramatic, more polished and crisper.

10. BOUND - polished, clearer, crisper, sample sounds better, and charlie wilson's vocals sound piercingly clear - very moving ****.

I've always been a huge fan of kanyes work but this cd is disappointing. I wasn't really expecting a masterpiece or anything just wanted some new good music.

His CDs have always been feel good music to me. Lately it's just been showing off just like other rappers.

i think he keeps doing it on purpose so that eventually he can stop releasing physical copies and just release it digital. that way people get used to the idea and dont get caught off guard. like making people prefer the digital over the physical

Wait, so the album on his website is different than the iTunes version? Can somebody confirm this?

How many of you who enjoy this album are also Front 242 or NIN fans?

Just curious because this album definitely has an industrial sound.

i never heard of those bands but i did like 808s

I have never purchased or downloaded a Kanye album, so I feel I'm very neutral on the topic. If I had to pick a side, I'd be on the anti-Ye side of things. So, with that said....

Decided to stream YEEZUS, as I did with WTT. I was ready to give each track a quick 30 second to 1 min of play time then move on to the next song. Well, I ended up listening to the entire album in full, took the headphones off, and looked at my girl like, uh, that **** was pretty good "/ ... She started laughing and called me gay slurs.

Days and several listens later, I could probably only quote 3-4 lines but I still have urges to listen to the album. For me, this album is great because the MUSIC is so great. Unlike the cookie cutter songs of today with addictive beats and catchy ad-libs that totally cover up the rappers lack of skill, this album's beats didn't cover up his lyrics or flow, they were just so good that it left me not caring or simply accepting them for an ARTIST. Kanye doesn't use a bunch of ad-libs or have a voice that just rides on tracks, imo --- what he does so well is choose beats that ride his voice instead. Yeezus was brilliant production wise. I think this one is for fans of music in general, and not necessarily "hip-hop".

And back to my opening statement, I've never been a fan. All the talk in this thread about his career did however make me go back and find streams of all his previous releases and listen to the progression of his sound. Just finished Late Registration and it was a let down from where College Dropout left off. On to Graduation now....
:smokin me too

Nah i think the itunes and physical album is better then the leaks

i bought the cd i hope theres no difference

aint no difference to me a few minor changes and beat drops nothing spectacular

I think some of you just have a slight case of ear fatigue

I still dont really see the hype in Bound 2, i guess its cuz i read all the reviews before i heard it, i expected more
