I like that its a fresh match-up but lets face it a lot of people do not care about these teams. The Rangers fan base is non-existent.

The Rangers have only played one 1-run game this postseason I believe. That was game 1 when there bullpen blew it against the Yanks. I think that is going to hurt them a lot in this series because they aren't going to put up 5+ runs every time out against the Giants pitching. If the Rangers want ANY shot at all in this series, Cliff Lee is going to have to beat Timmy twice, which is going to be hard. The Giants pitching is just too dominant and there offense is good enough to win. Neither of these teams were suppose to be here, so I'm sure both sides will put up a great fight. But I just think the Giants will prevail. They also have home field and AT&T park is going to be CRAZY. Neither team has ever won a WS either, which is going to make it that much more exciting.

The Giants offense isn't as explosive but in tight ballgames all season long they've gotten timely hitting from somebody different every night. Last night was Uribe. Game 4 was Huff and Posey. Game 1 was Ross. You get the picture...

People have watched for two weeks and come to the conclusion that it sucks because of two games against two of the three best offenses in baseball... It's dumb.
