Official Umar Johnson Thread

*EDIT* Like I said in the post below I kinda just found out about Umar not that long ago so I had no idea that someone reverse image searched the pics he posted regarding the alleged arson at FDMG and found that that image was not of FDMG... LMAO!

DC, have you donated to FDMG or purchased his outrageously priced book?

I did an extremely cursory scan to the first page of this thread and saw that you attended one of his engagements in 2011... has your perception of him changed since then?

Honestly I just became aware of Umar maybe late 2018/early 2019 and as of right now my take on him is so conflicting that I really am not entirely sure what to make of Umar Ifatunde.

I think my very first impression of him is that he is WILDLY hilarious while being fully aware of how funny he is which is important because it allows him the space to understand some of the responses that he gets on various platforms.

My second impression was- f*** he’s a scammer and appears to be homeless because all of his live feeds are in parks, restaurants or assorted other locales that are not a house or apartment.

Third is, wait he literally has a seemingly acceptable response to EVERY SINGLE CRITICISM related to his handling of and progress on his FDMG Academy (this is especially apparent in a YouTube video where a self-proclaimed troll cross examines him for 50 minutes and he answers every single one of her questions with a reasonably high level of coherence and clarity).

I get that the school has not been realized in its full form and after so much time has passed and so many donations given, people expect to see something more concrete than a building in Delaware That needs massive renovations, but some days it feels like he is not the scammer and fraud that a lot of people make him out to be.

I get that he has stretched the truth as it relates to his lineage and being a descendant of Fredrick Douglass, but if he gets the school up and running, how much does being related to a famous abolitionist matter?

Oh and I should probably add that I don’t agree with his stance on the LGBTQ community and at the same time, I fully understand the ideology that for Black people to accomplish anything significant as a whole, Black people simply cannot afford to allow any other groups to co-opt and tag along with the movement. For black people that identify as LGBTQ, my understanding is that Umar says that these individuals are black first and that is the priority, unapologetically...

You forgot to add his misogynist speak. That's my issue with him.

Aint no way in hell you're going to convince me to donate to the school then put in free labor to make the school look good as well. I guess the teachers will have to work for free as well IF the school actually opens.

So a regular on the Karen Hunter hosts a podcast on Fraudsters. They just dropped an episode on Umar. They pretty much use his own words to expose himself 😂 wait till you hear about his “book”

Thank you for this famb. I am only 15 mins in and I am cracking up.

They are playing all his classic tracks :lol

Umar went out bad man. His knowledge was necessary but I don't know what happened to dude. I think the school got to his head and just spiraled out of control for him to handle it or he's always been like this.
