:::OFFICIAL SNEAKER CARE/MAINTENANCE POST::: (It's back!)

well i know the suede part you need a soft bristle tooth brush and water what you do is run water on the brush clean the desired area with a circular motionthen quickly dry it with a clean towel and repeat the process till you feel your done it should work it worked for me

-for the af1 stitching, if it's white stitch then you could use the tooth paste or you can use oxyclean or maybe some bleach diluted with water so itdoesn't weaken the stitching.
-for the harbor iii's, find out what colors you need for the repaint. if the angelus paint isn't available in those colors, you need to do a colormatch. go to lowe's or home depot to find out what colors are needed to be mixed for you color shade and get the angelus paints to mix for them and go fromthere. strip the midsoles with acetone or you can sand it. acetone is the easiest way to remove it.
- wow, the hare's are a popular shoes on how to clean them. suede/nubuck cleaner for the suede parts, basice shoe cleaner for the rest of the shoe.don't do so much water on the suede as you will dry out this area and it will become hard and stiff over time.
-foamposites- if you can post pics of them i can give you a better idea on what to due for the areas mentioned. i don't have a pair so it's hard for meto give you any suggestions unless i see the pics.

thanks i just need a basic white paint i already striped the paint off the midsole i used acetone sanding was to risky thanks abunch pimpjobu

^angelus paint my man. should run you about $5-$6. get the bigger bottle, not the small one.

this should be re-name Pimpjobu's Official Sneaker Care/Maintenance Post...lol

the soles are coming off of my columbia XI's . im thinking shoe goo but not too sure , can anyone point me in the right direction ?

thanks for the props guys! just helping fellow nt'ers as much as possible. as far as the soles of the columbia xi's, shoe goo is the way to go. justmake sure it's the clear one, not the black shoe goo. hopefully it's just simple touch-ups on the soles and not a full out re-glue. if this is thecase, your gonna need a clamp for the sides and anything else to apply pressure when you glue it back. that way there's no gap between the soles and theshoe.

For the cdp hare 7s theres two types of suede/nubuck cleaners from footlocker theres a regular one (yellow silver can) and one that is more of a foam typesubstance which do you prefer for the suede if any?

military i's- yeah like andfattoo said, use the suede/nubuck cleaner. if the area still looks light after cleaning, you might have to do the baby oil trick to touch it up.
grey and yellow low xi's- suede/nubuck foam or cleaner will work for the suede and the elephant material.
thanks man ima try that

So i copped some SeaGlow and decided I would test them out on these stealth Vs before I do some XIs and my Black Vs. And I am a believer! I am a little afraidof doing the XIs because of the sole separation from the heat so I'm going to be very careful.

So the front shoe I started on the larger clear sole part yesterday as the very first test. The back shoe is before I even touched them with SeaGlow, tocompare to what 2 hours do

So here is the back shoe close up before i even touched it with the SeaGlow

And this is as soon as i put the sea glow on

stuff works great. I'm going to do another round tomorrow.

hey i got some 5's and theres some dirt on the tongue how can i safely clean the 3m material without ruining it thnx

How much can 1 20oz bottle of Seaglow can I use? Like 2 pairs 3 pairs? Cause I wanna do my stealth Vs just like the guy up there and my VIs and my Cool GreySpizikes

What type of precautions should I take when sea glowing some Infrared VI's? They are DS right now and I do not want to +%** them up

^dont get them on the suede/nubuck but on the other stuff you should be good.

the sea glow bottle i got was rather expensive at $28.00. but the cashier gave me a free cap with a nozzle.

What ive been doing is using a tooth brush and applying the seaglow like it was toothpaste (even tho its a liquid). Doing it that way i barely use much so isee a bottle def lasting a LONG time.

i got some kiwi Suede&Nubuc cleaner and protector kit wth a brush and erasor etc. is this good to use on v's (Metalic}and 11's (grey, yellow)? thnx

get the shoe cleaner with the soft tip applicator. if not, soap and water with a toothbrush.
