That fashiononlineshop looks fake, haven't checked the rest of the sites.

Just looked at the Steve Young and

They even had a Nate Davis jersey.

Btw, if you digg around Marshall's/Ross they have last years unis floating around for 29.99. Seen a couple Pat Willis, Gore's, and Vernon Davis'.Wanted to cop that #52 but couldn't find my size.

if alex can outperform hill in camp i don't mind him starting....i don't care who starts as long as we win. since people are already writing him off asa bust as a number one overall, the expectations for him are now much, much lower, so who knows, he could still develop into a solid starter. MAYBE.

Patrick Willis takes up MMA
Posted by Mike Florio on July 28, 2009 8:30 AM ET
nfl_willis.jpgNot long ago, word emerged that Cardinals backup quarterback (and, until further notice, first-round bust) Matt Leinart had taken upmixed-martial arts training in order to, as FOX's Jay Glazer put it, transform Leinart from a pretty boy into a killer.

So what happens when a guy who takes up MMA training already is a killer?

We're about to find out.

Glazer tells us that 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis is the latest NFL player to work with Glazer and Randy Couture in an effort to improve his football skillsvia the 21st century's answer to boxing and pro wrestling.

Willis started the program in early July. And Glazer says that, though Willis entered and exited the program at the same 238 pounds, Willis has lost two beltnotches in his midsection.

Willis likely will gain some of that weight back when he devours Steven Jackson.

DHB signed with the raiders...HOPEFULLY that gets crabby closer to sign.

just do NOT give up that top 5 money BS. he got drafted at the 10th spot and that's what kind of money he should be getting.

^ I thinks that ups the total to either 6 or 7 of the 1st round picks that have been signed
49ers' Vernon Davis vows to focus on ball, not brawls
Posted by Dan Brown on July 30th, 2009 at 4:12 pm | Categorized as Uncategorized

Patrick Willis spent a few weeks working out like an MMA fighter in Las Vegas. Takeo Spikes trained like a boxer in Atlanta.

Vernon Davis, meanwhile, vowed that his days of trading punches are over.

The 49ers tight end said he will try to avoid training camp fisticuffs this year, which represents a significant pronouncement. Davis has been quick to throw haymakers over his first three seasons, racking up memorable bouts against Parys Haralson and Larry Grant (who retired attention from the training staff).

Here's a YouTube clip of the Haralson dustup.

With another training camp starting Saturday, Davis said that this year he plans to keep his inner-Muhammad Ali under control. For one thing, Mike Singletary has no patience for fights in practice. Previous coach Mike Nolan would let guys trade blows now and then, reasoning that fights demonstrated passion.

Singletary just finds them wasted energy.

"I agree with him,'' Davis said. "I don't think there should be fighting. We don't have time for that. We need to move on and keep things moving and try to win games."

Davis said that if players fight, Singletary will stop practice and make the whole team run. So the tight end vowed to keep his cool, even if he practiced with the same intensity.

"That's behind me, but the one thing I can't stop doing is being competitive,'' David said. "That's just who I am. I'm going to do my best not to lose."

Scot McCloughan gave just a three-word update on the status of contract negotiations with first-round pick Michael Crabtree: "Nothing right now,'' he said. Crabtree is the 49ers' only unsigned player as the clock ticks down toward Saturday's first practice.

Veteran players who check in Thursday expressed an understanding for Crabtree's situation, calling it the "business side" of the game. On the other hand, players also know that a rookie can fall behind quickly if he misses too many practices.

Davis, when asked what Crabtree is missing by being away, said: "He's missing experience. And not just experience but knowledge of the game. He needs to get in here. We don't have time to mess around and wait. He has to learn his role and he needs to be here to get along with the team. And we need to learn him."

Defensive lineman Justin Smith, summing up the expectations of several players, said he expects Singletary's first camp to be "pretty brutal." He glanced at the practice schedule and saw a listing for "tackling drills."

For Smith, entering his ninth NFL season, it was a jarring sight.

"I've never done a tackling drill in the NFL,'' he said. "Singletary said he wants to get back to basics, and blocking and tackling is about as basic as it gets."

The first few weeks are filled with two-a-day practices in pads. This is not a camp for the feint of heart. There might be more grumbling if not for the fact that the guy blowing the whistle has a bust in the Hall of Fame.

"That's the thing,'' Smith said. "He's done it. I'm sure that he was out there under Buddy Ryan doing the same thing. He's definitely speaking from experience."

Willis said he loved his MMA training in Las Vegas. He spent three weeks learning some mixed martial art moves and said he picked up some foot quickness, hand speed and better overall control of his body.

Spikes called his previous five weeks of training maybe the best of his career. He worked out in Atlanta with teammate Parys Haralson and the New York Giants Osi Uminyeora, among others. Their training included some open-handed boxing that Spikes said translates well to football movements.

Spikes said he is prepared for Singletary's grueling camps, but also hopes that the 49ers don't push things beyond reason.

"You open yourself up to injuries,'' he said. "We just have to be smart."

Just PLEASE don't start Alex Smith. Dude is garbage, he doesn't even belong in the league. The fact that they let him play for as long as he did isabsolutely astonishing to me. I'd trade Alex Smith for a Klondike bar.

Exactly.

Hill has a slight edge because of last year, but in the end your start the player that gives you the best chance to win. Jose Cortez?
