AOC is a very popular incumbent so it’s not huge that she won. However, the left is under fire from most of the media, the business community and both major parties. So a win always feels like a big deal even a chip shot like tonight.

If you’re on the left, you got to be able to endure a lot of losses and keep fighting. Eventually, we’ll win, we’ll outlast capitalism and its hegemonic control of our politics. Or we won’t and most of us will be dead by 2050 due to climate change and barbarism that will be terminal stage capitalism in ecological crisis.
