***Official Political Discussion Thread***

I am not ****ing saying anything in favor of Mike Bloomberg. I am pointing out Trump will be way worse in specific areas. That was the whole point of my cancer comparison before. That there is extra carnage he will cause over Bloomberg, that you are cosigning.

So ****ing miss me with this weak *** excuse.

You have co-signed white supremacists at the ballot before, so if you are gonna do it again, then own it. But don't act like anyone is ****ing forcing your hand.

Because I see no principles in your strategy. You handwave Trump's actions, and people serious issue with them, just to rant about the sensibilities regarding PMC. This is just affluent white privilege, wrapped with a socialist bow. Straight circus bathroom status.

We agree, vote to reduce damage. We disagree who would do the most damage.

Again, Bloomberg's record as NYC mayor and his ability to build consensus among affluent voters, who currently dislike Trump, I see as adding up to the additional damage being inflicted on the most vulnerable.

pre-impeachment hearing biden would probably have had the best shot to win but not anymore. trump got everything he wanted: 1) to play the victim and rally his base 2) to be indicted and claim victory 3) have a shadow bigger than clinton had with her emails to fall over biden - his biggest threat. i don’t even like biden much but mannn....

Completely odd move by the house and I mentioned that at the time. Would have been even worse for Biden if they allowed witnesses. Not sure how the Democrats didn’t realize this.

I think RustyShackleford RustyShackleford had some “gotta do what’s right” defense. But the entire impeachment was short-sighted.

Biden was a weak frontrunner, impeachment or no impeachment.

The question is who is better an you put Trump over a bunch of people that would do less damage.

One of the reason positive change doesn't take place in the country is because our democracy has eroded so much. Any hope of the next Bernie and Warren making any grand changes hinges on that changing. And you put the one candidate that points this out as worst than Trump because he represents the worst in America. I agree he does, but that doesn't mean him reminding us of that fact should hold any value.

The Question was:

"To all posters, I’m curious about you guys’ early predictions on who will be the Democratic nominee. Also, does your prediction line up with your preferred choice?"

So we both wrong.

Anyway - I'm going with Rev. Dr. MLK Jr. on this one.

Im asking you where is there room for a dem to be a wolf

Fam - the DNC is FULL of wolves who would do ANYTHING to keep things exactly as they are.

Its the problems that gave them power in the first place so the last thing they want to do is solve them.

They are like the pharmaceutical companies.

Why cure cancer when the treatment is making us rich?

Don't think there's ever been a more punchable assembly of deplorables in one video

It's early September 2020, Bloomberg has stolen the Democratic nomination and it's Trump versus Bloomberg. It's early on a Sunday morning. The news reports that there was a helicopter crash. Oh no, was Shaq on board? Then word comes out that Trump and Bloomberg were on board along with Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein. All were killed. not long after the black box revealed they were on the way to a "lolita party." A book is found in a fire proof box containing the names of all heads of state as regular attendees at these parties.

Financial markets crash world wide, workers around the world rise up as they know that they are ruled by billionaire pedophiles. Anarcho-Communism sweeps the globe.

IF that happens, maybe there is a God.

Dude King's quote is out of context for you to use it in such a way.

The impeachment played a part, but Biden did himself in with poor debate performances, arguing with ppl at town halls and having nothing to add outside of “what Barack did...”. The more he talks, the less people like him. Actually he might have been better off taking the Bloomberg approach and just showing up on Super Tuesday off the strength of name recognition.

I never told you anything like that. You said Trump was the first President in modern history to hire a self-proclaimed white supremacist. Our discussion was in relation to “self proclaimed.” Not whether he’s a white supremacist.

As I said the other day, I have not defended Stephen Miller whatsoever and I am not now.
So you're saying you argued a point that didn't matter just to antagonize someone who was opposed to the hiring of a racist you won't defend?

Why?

Now russia is trying to feel the bern?

fuhhhh, now watch trump send a drone strike their way.

“I thought we were friends!”

Spare me. This is not a one to one comparison. Yes we disagree on who will cause the most damage but I didn't make some argument about it would be strategically best to vote for Bloomberg. The closest I have come to saying I would vote for him is a joke. No way I am gonna **** vote for that piece on **** in my right mind.

So we are not the same.

And I don't need reminding what kind of person Bloomberg was. I lived under his rule. I was getting stopped and frisk constantly, money stolen from me, and guns pointed to my head. Might I asked, what where you doing that time? What direction action were you taking during that time?

So again, I don't need reminding about what Bloomberg is capable of. You read about it, I lived it.

No, that’s not what I’m saying.
Stop wasting our time acting obtuse.

In Internet slang, a troll is a person who starts quarrels or upsets people on the Internet to distract and sow discord by posting inflammatory and digressive,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into displaying emotional responses[2] and normalizing tangential discussion,[3] whether for the troll's amusement or a specific gain.

So memos of him saying his sole purpose in life is to push white supremacist agendas does not make him a self proclaimed white supremacist?

Just me, or everyone participating in the thread?
If you find anyone else gleefully engaged in semantic hairsplitting to antagonize users and deliberately obfuscate or sidetrack the discussion, you feel free to report them, okay?

In the meantime, know that this behavior is defined as trolling -and will be treated as such.

You have been warned.

Do what, tell the truth.

"Do what, tell the my truth."

FIFU

Rev Dr. MLK Jr. doesnt need an interpreter. Didnt then and doesnt now.

Im going with Dr. King and history so...

When it comes to my vote - if you arent part of the solution then youre part of the problem.

IMHO Sanders and Warren are the only ones whose policies and platforms are part of the solution.
