Just my experience, but old people and Republicans that I’ve talked to label anything liberal as socialism and think that the United States will literally turn into what the USSR was.Socialist Jesus has the least amount of dirt/skeletons than anybody else with a real shot of winning the Dem nomination.
"Radical Socialist" isn't the scary term that it was 20 years ago, except to the same group of people who called Obama one. Those same people confuse and conflate "liberal" "leftist" "progressive" etc.
I think it’s sad but Trump could probably just attack the dude for being gay. We already know he will resort to racism and has attacked disabled people.I not really sure what kind of dirt is out there on Pete since he doesn’t have congressional experience, but I would have to guess it is less than other candidates

DOJ would likely intervene, their position is that courts should never weigh in on congressional subpoena disputes. Additionally, Bolton is also covered under DOJ’s ‘absolute immunity’ OLC opinion. DOJ invoked it in the McGahn subpoena case so they apply it to former senior advisers as well. They could actually file a motion to compel with the courts if they really wanted him to testify instead of just making headlines.
Likewise, Bolton could have just given the information if he wasn’t just trying to sell a book by offering Senate testimony.
I might be reading this wrong but I’m not sure what that first sentence says. Did you mean that neither ‘ended’ Trump?Neither ended the same one.
Finding of no Russian collusion and an acquittal
All of this reinforces why Baelizabeth Warren needs to be the nominee. Already got MAJOR political wins, composed beyond belief, can talk directly to the middle class, and doesn't have decades of political baggage for Trump to attack.
Hillary, the most (unfairly) demonized political figure of the 21st century, won more votes than Trump. People think a much more genuine and likeable woman wouldnt put up numbers too? Let Warren tell voters in Wisconsin that she has a plan to bring their jobs back, or voters in Ohio that she'll burn the pharma companies to the ground, or the western PA voters that their kids will go to college for free while their taxes go down because their boogeyman Bezos will be paying taxes.
Then take a selfie with them. Boom. Election won
Decades of red scare propaganda will do thatThey just call me a socialist and accuse me of wanting to turn the country into Venezuela when I dare suggest maybe we should have a stronger middle class, education should cost a fortune, and people have access to affordable health care.
Source?Just read that the treasury turned over documents on hunter biden to gop. This **** getting crazier and crazier. The constitution is a joke and those currently in power are as corrupt as any country has ever been.
I remember they called Al Gore a socialist for wanting to pay down the National Debt.Just my experience, but old people and Republicans that I’ve talked to label anything liberal as socialism and think that the United States will literally turn into what the USSR was.

What's special about Bern is that he's the first Dem nom that has a sizeable amount of none Dem support, mostly among people who just feel like their vote doesn't matter. Those are the folks Dems need to target but they keep going for the moderate repubs.I am not worried about scandals with Sanders. Not that I have some unique faith in him, just that you really can't predict what will gain traction. Plus the media is trash so Bern gonna get railroaded just like most Dems over the smallest of ****.
It is just I just don't buy he is the politicial supernova some paint him out to be. I don't think we will get 2008 turnout or better just by putting him on the ballot. So I not comforted by the prospect of this like some are.
Secondly, like I said before Bernie is the Pusha-T of politics. And he tends to overestimate the popularity and power of his policy positions. He been spitting the same bars over and over for years. Sure that might win him a fanbase but in a politicial fight I don't have confidence that he can handle attacks without just repeating the same **** over and over.
He kinda like my Aunt trying to talk to her Peruvian neighbors, that don't talk English that well yet. When she thinks they are not understanding her, she doesn't rephrase what see is saying in hopes they new way will make it click for them. Instead she just repeats the same steez, just louder. . That's Prime.
The same risk that are there with all candidates will be there with Prime, and his uniqueness might open the door to some positives (all things considered he is probably the best unity candidate for the Dems), but also some negatives. And again, not one dude saving us at the ballot. Prime ain't electoral Master Chief. The real Chief can't run again and is right now getting grapes fed to him by his wife Michelle.

A scandal is defined by the facts of the case, not the political outcome.
Obama 2008 probably brought more new voters into the fold than Bern is doing now. Not saying Bern doesn't have those unique positives, just saying I think people overestimate how powerful they are. What's special about Bern is that he's the first Dem nom that has a sizeable amount of none Dem support, mostly among people who just feel like their vote doesn't matter. The book would likely be out long before a definitive ruling. Look at how long the McGahn case is taking.
I don't know if anyone here has actually looked at Warrens plan to pay for most of her policies, but the social security increase of $200 a month is going to be paid for by upping the cap on SS wages of $139K to $250K which means individuals who make more than that will start paying an additional 6.2% tax each paycheck and employers would be required to pay the same on those amounts. Plus she is looking at increasing taxes by 15% on passive income earned in excess of $250K. Both of these policies are going to hammer small businesses and S-corporations.
All so we can keep dumping money into a ponzi scheme without actually fixing it.

I forgot Obama did well with undecideds in 08, that's a good point.Obama 2008 probably brought more new voters into the fold than Bern is doing now. Not saying Bern doesn't have those unique positives, just saying I think people overestimate how powerful they are.
