Also, it blows my mind that there are people so racist here that they want to provide places for “displaced white farmers” from South Africa. The country that did apartheid and the same continent their ancestors went to enslave people.

That says a lot about these crazies.

But think about it b, would you rather have Trump for life or 4 more years of da Crooked Hillary & Obama deep state?
Clueless libbies would rather destroy the US than let a real russian patriot run it :smh:

Any of them under the age of 25ish could be helped as they didnt really have a hand in that time.

I said it was coming. Y'all ain't getting elections in 2018. Watch...

...me be wrong. Hopefully.

We already know what the excuse will be if he tries it. “For the sake of security in our election and making sure there is NO inference....we wil DELAY the vote until we can make sure everything is secure people because beleive me people right now it’s not not safe at all ”

Tell me his supporters won’t buy that BS and will start saying “he’s just making sure our election is safe and no interference unlike Obummer”

I can hear it now.

So the playbook deflection of Trump's desire to be president for life are 2 classic maneuvers (Obama was worse, you can't take him seriously he was joking) as well as whataboutism using FDR

Just watched 13th and LA 92 on Netflix, and I've never been more infuriated than ever before about the government's hostile agenda towards African-Americans, and other minorities.

I know it's not farfetch to achieve the "American Dream," but principles have clouded (corrupted) judgment of elected officials. I wasn't born here but I was taught to pursue the idea of it and discover a sense of purpose in this country because the US supposedly embody freedom in all aspects of livelihood. Apparently lobbyists have privatized our government in ways that are profitable to their big business; such as a PRIVATE PRISON!

Now I know where Duterte gets his BS ideas of "War on Drugs." :smh:

Anyone else think the orange clown is only doing this steel and aluminum tariff so he can manipulate the market and try to distract from Russia investigation?

  1. Float the idea that you plan on imposing tariffs on imported steel and aluminum
  2. Send the stock market into a panic
  3. Buy stocks at a lower price
  4. Never impose the tariff
  5. Profit when the stock market goes back up
  6. Maybe the media will stop talking about Russia investigation during all of this

He is also boosting his popularity in some areas - my father in law (who is crazy) is a retired steelworker and he’s talking about it being a good thing - he sees a boost to the rust belt - but completely ignores the fact that it will screw over so many other industries.

I do think that the whole Tom Friedman style free trade orthodoxy should be questioned more thoroughly on the left. However, a big, dumb, across the board tariff is bad policy and runs counter to the stated goal of promoting the interests of the US based working class at the expense of the US based professional-managerial class and foreign governments who sponsor unfair trade practices.

Both were great, I feel bad not doing much follow up reading. Documentaries are great to get inspired but follow up reading is how you really get familiar with a topic.

Fo'real, man. I was taught about the '92 LA events but it wasn't AS GRAPHIC as it was depicted in the docs. I found a way to ruin my Saturday night as far watching different versions of inequality here in the States.

Wasn't blindsided by the Rodney King verdict due to its circumstances but it got me all shook in terms of the public outcry. Like you don't know what determines or warrants justice anymore. I felt bad for business owners because of the looting and fires, especially one African-American business owner who was shouting at his neighbors for looting his store...

Such a sad period.

After a week of the political news upsetting me constantly. This have me a decent chuckle.....

If Kevin Nicholson’s parents support his political aspirations, they have an odd way of showing it: Donna and Michael Nicholson donated to their Republican son’s potential general-election opponent — a Democrat — months after their child’s own campaign announcement.

As CNN first reported, Donna and Michael Nicholson each contributed $2,700 in December to the reelection campaign of incumbent Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.), according to Federal Election Commission filings — the maximum allowed by law during the primary election cycle.

The couple can donate the same amount during the general election, when their 40-year-old son may or may not be Baldwin’s direct opponent.

Nicholson said his mother and father have a “different worldview” than he does, saying in a statement to The Washington Post that “it is not surprising that they would support a candidate like Tammy Baldwin who shares their perspective.”

When your parents contribute toward your potential "L"
