Democratic men should treat her like the guys at Sterling-Cooper treated like the “gals in the typing pool.”

Or better yet, make loud and repeated calls to “put her *** back in the kitchen.”

Trads want women barefoot and pregnant, let’s compromise. Let’s put Republican women back in the kitchen.

Liberal and left women are the ones who deserve solidarity and to continue benefitting from social progress.

No more free rides for conservative women and cis gay guys as well. All those gay, tech bro, SS wannabes in San Francisco have gotten too comfortable. You’re against “degeneracy”? Buddy, you WERE considered degenerates until like five minutes ago.

If the mayor of SF were based, she’d do a few good ole’ fashion raids on gay bars largely patronized by 1488 style gays. Just as a little reminder and then cease doing so.

Edit: I’m mostly riffing here. As far as I know, it’d be hard to enact policy to roll back civil rights just for pro Trump members of a group.

I do believe that Democrats should troll the he’ll out of elected Republicans who are part of marginalized demographics.

If you were to say that “Nancy Mace is a vile *****,” either she’d have to live her values and have thick skin and look weak. Or she can complain and if Democrats do that often enough, low info voters will see the Republicans as being the whiny language police.

Perhaps if people didn't exist to be colossal pieces of ****, there wouldn't be a bounty on them. Stop being *******s and f'ing do something productive for once and then people will stop. Meanwhile, you have a dingbat in Ohio who wants to make planting a flag at OSU Stadium a felony. Yes, I'm sure that is what your constituency wants right now. You vote bib babies into office, you get big baby level legislation.

Not to be outdone, Nancy Mace is walking around the Hill with her arm in a sling after someone tapped her on the arm and she claimed she was assaulted. Based on that criteria, I've assaulted a thousand people in my life. These are the biggest cry babies on the planet. They tell you to suck it all up and pull yourselves up by the bootstraps. Yet, they couldn't find three muscles to put on their own boots if they even tried. The wimpiest, saddest political party of all time, and their entire constituency is about to get dumped on by a colossal pile of crap, thinking Trump was "looking out for them".

The guy who shot him was all over the place politically.

To the extent you could find any ideology, it seemed to be that having fundamental baseline values was foolish and you should be maximally data driven (a deeply hubristic position).

So there is a certain irony that a CEO who shared the same “data driven” philosophy, chiefly the notion that you should “delete” anything that doesn’t look good on a spreadsheet. Brian Thompson took this ideology so far that he created an AI to automate this process.

Meanwhile, some else, Mangione, looked at enough data and decided that for-profit healthcare needed to be deleted. Combine that with his class background, his acumen with business and technology, and you have the modern day equivalent of a Knight.

When Henry II reiterated his now unbearable displeasure at Thomas à Becket a few of his knights violently killed Becket because those Knights believed it was time to act.

Mangione saw himself as a champion for humanity at large and his data told him to slay Thompson.

So there is deep poetic irony Brian Thompson’s morality free, optimize at all cost, “data-driven” mindset happened and that same way of viewing the World contributes to his ultimate demise at hands of a fellow, morality free, “data-driven” elite. That drives a lot of the humor associated with it and that humor has come from people of every ideological stripe.

But as someone on the farthest left, I can say that at least as a philosophical matter, most leftists would feel sympathy at least on a basic human level for Thompson himself and if not for him, then his family.

You can feel bad for the guy and those close to him while also publicly celebrating the symbolism of Mangione and what he did.

BTW, every ideology divides groups into friends and enemies. And socialism considers a pretty small share of humanity its enemies and the enmity is due to mutable traits and discrete acts. Whereas, most other ideologies name vast swaths of humanity as enemies and often based on immutable traits.

I actually want Trump to ruin the country as quickly as he'd like to. Kill Social Security, Medicare, VA benefits, etc. Just end it all. Go all in. Just end it. Let's see how the GOP survives killing millions of people.

"WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden is commuting the sentences of roughly 1,500 people who were released from prison and placed on home confinement during the coronavirus pandemic and is pardoning 39 Americans convicted of nonviolent crimes. It’s the largest single-day act of clemency in modern history.

The commutations announced Thursday are for people who have served out home confinement sentences for at least one year after they were released. Prisons were uniquely bad for spreading the virus and some inmates were released in part to stop the spread. At one point, 1 in 5 prisoners had COVID-19, according to a tally kept by The Associated Press.

Biden said he would be taking more steps in the weeks ahead and would continue to review clemency petitions. The second largest single-day act of clemency was by Barack Obama, with 330, shortly before leaving office in 2017.

“America was built on the promise of possibility and second chances,” Biden said in a statement. “As president, I have the great privilege of extending mercy to people who have demonstrated remorse and rehabilitation, restoring opportunity for Americans to participate in daily life and contribute to their communities, and taking steps to remove sentencing disparities for non-violent offenders, especially those convicted of drug offenses.”"

Live interview outside the prison Luigi Mangione is in and Inmates watching NewsNation in their cells start yelling answers to questions the anchor is asking. Never seen this :lol

It turns out the guy may have just been mentally ill

and his act of insanity basically has little to do with the problems of the American healthcare system.

One for y'all boys mantlepiece.

I get where they're going with it but man is this an indictment of where we are as a nation. But I guess the election was the real indictment.

unfortunately I have a lot of experience with highly intelligent mental ill people.

and this dude just seems like a classic case of schizophrenia emerging in mid 20's after college.
I think people have hard time defaulting to the most obvious explanation, because when people think of schizophrenia they think of some crazy looking homeless person,

when in reality there are many highly intelligent, attractive looking people who complete college get a job and still develop schizophrenia in their mid 20's.

and it weird way it can be tougher to get them help because they have higher than average IQ's,
they can appear functional longer, hold down a job, ect

so it's harder to convince a court they are a danger to themselves.

also given that Luigi Mangiano was into psychedelics.

with the legalization of weed, and psychedelics,
I really think public health authorities need to educate the public;

if you have a family history of schizophrenia or bipolar disorder you probably should not do psychedelic drugs, at least until your 30's tbh.

i personally would never do them for that reason, but I think anyone with a family history of that stuff should be aware of the risks.

This is truly rich.

This clown is complaining about dehumanization when the right proposes actual policy based on making people's identities illegal and treating folks as mere spreadsheet rows and columns.

Find a mirror.

Not to mention how they celebrated Kyle Rittenhouse. What a joke.
