People are understandably concerned but if we can look at the big picture, the GOP is not in a very strong position.
I haven’t seen anything really, fundamentally change for the GOP since 2022.
I feel like a few days after the election, the narrative will be something like “turns out, Dobbs and abortion are still a huge albatross around the GOPs neck.”
Moreover, saying that Biden is old and that the GOP will fix inflation were both tried in 2022. I don’t see them doing things differently enough to make it somehow work this time around.
It’s only going to be close due to the EC but negative polarization, the educational divide, and the GOP’s position on abortion will be their electoral undoing, again.

They won’t wonder why
. They’ll just blame “big pharma”, the tech industry, billionaires (not including trump (assuming he is one)), immigrants stealing from their pockets, and probably sprinkle in a little bit of Hillary. To actually think that they’d do any deep thinking to the root of the cause of the social problems that trump will bring is being massively optimistic.
