There’s a quote in the Twitter replies from Norm Nixon saying something like “if they’re clapping then that’s not comedy - they should be laughing”.

Honestly I think this applies to the vocal stars of the right and most their actual politicians. The rest are just grifters who don’t care as long as the money keeps flowing in. Dems have their share too, but there are a few there who actually care, and as a whole the party tries to do good.
