Yeah John McCain still played his part in the recent rise of stupid, angry, racist Republicanism.

Let's not forget that he and normal conservatives paved the way for the MAGA movement. This is why I highly respect John McCain and defend him. We know he's not perfect but knows righteousness peace and decency. Possibly could have been president if not for Obamas overwhelming popularity.
Seriously, they haven't been right eversince they nominated that POS orange fatweight the 1st time in the Republican party. They ain’t been right since Roe was overturned. I keep saying being that malicious while asking for votes takes Batman level prep time and they haven’t been ahead of the 8 ball since then.
not sure about that nor the flip-flopping, but I highly doubt that McCain would tolerate or support extremism or openly sabotage the democrats or support narratives that is distasteful and dishonest with what the MAGA turds are now doing. McCain supported the Democrats and respected the will of the voting majority as opposed to what that band of lunatics now are doing. it's now a totally different party in a matter of 1 term after that racist idiot came into office.Let's not forget that he and normal conservatives paved the way for the MAGA movement.
They put the battery in their back with the tea party movement, Sarah Palin, the flip-flopping about Trump's fitness for office between the 2016 primaries and the general. They let him change the party platform about Ukraine support without a peep from any of them. They ignored their own strategists who, in 2013, advised against the culture war they've been waging since Obama was elected.
Their thirst for power was greater than their reason; let's never forget that.
About the autopsy:not sure about that nor the flip-flopping, but I highly doubt that McCain would tolerate or support extremism or openly sabotage the democrats or support narratives that is distasteful and dishonest with what the MAGA turds are now doing. McCain supported the Democrats and respected the will of the voting majority as opposed to what that band of lunatics now are doing.
I disagree. The party didn't change in a single term. We could see it coming ever since the GOP had decided to stop compromising with the Democrats to pass bills for the benefits of all Americans.it's now a totally different party in a matter of 1 term after that racist idiot came into office.
If this happens he’s the antichrist… plain and simpleTrump will get off on this then come back and punish all who oppose him in his 2nd term. Dark Times.
I would say that people got fooled, including the longtime republicans. surely Trump got me fooled the first time and also I didn't really fully supported Trump. I'm a Bernie Man even til now. I just couldn't bear to swallow, trust and support Hillary and knowing she is the least of both evils. what we didn't expect was Trump getting drunk with power and turn out to be an imbecile than what the media was and still trying to portray him as sort of genius. he is a crook. I should have listened to my instinct the first time of NOT TO TRUST BUSINESS PEOPLE. however, I'm not so sure if we even dodge a bullet when Ross Perot ran for presidency but his platform was extremely tempting.About the autopsy:
RNC Completes 'Autopsy' on 2012 Loss, Calls for Inclusion Not Policy Change
In what they called the 'most comprehensive post-election review' ever made of an electoral loss, the Republican National Committee and a group of project co-chairs unveiled a report today saying that they need to open their playbook and put their 'cards on the table face up' in order to win...abcnews.go.com
About the flip-flopping, watch videos of Cruz and Graham during the 2016 GOP primaries, and watch them lick Trump's boots during the General. Remember when Romney lambasted Trump during the primaries and begged for a job in the executive branch when Trump got elected?
I disagree. The party didn't change in a single term. We could see it coming ever since the GOP had decided to stop compromising with the Democrats to pass bills for the benefits of all Americans.
Remember Mitch's pledge to make Obama a one-term president? Remember the GOP's pledge to oppose every single thing the Obama administration would propose? McCain was nowhere to be found as the voice of reason people portray him as today.
Remember all the excuses they made for him during the election (he will act presidential once the election is over)? Remember when they ignored the open letter signed by 50 Republican intelligence officials warning about Trump being a national security threat if he was elected?
Remember when they justified Trump's "carelessness" with sensitive information during public appearances?
Remember that Paul Ryan leak about possible Russian collaborators within the GOP? Where were the reasonable ones (Romney, McCain, Cheney, the concerned lady from Maine), and what did they do to purge the party from possible foreign influence?
Every little thing Trump has done, the "normal" republicans enabled it. McCain can't be separated from the rest; his silence indicated his willingness to support Trump despite all the red flags that surrounded him on his way to the White House and during his term.
