Yang is an clout chaser that should probably be kept away from power.

His lead seems mainly based on his name recognition, and the polling includes tons of candidates. Right now he is at 28%, there is no heavy favorite right now. Especially given the media attention the mayoral race gets, and folk dropping out, he still has a ways to go.

However even if he does win, I doubt he does that much better at the job than DeBlasio. NYC's problems probably need state and federal intervention.

Just thankful a Republican has no chance of winning.
