Official Pizza Appreciation!

Pizza and coke the go to

Pops had me eating pizza and drinking milk with it as a kid. Actually not a bad combo

yeah i try to limit soda but it's a must for me with pizza or burgers :hat

growing up, most of my white friends' moms always gave us milk with dinner. i couldn't do it. i love milk with cereal or cookies/sweets...but i can't do it with dinner :lol

Some frozen pies I did at home from a couple local places in my area

Friend & I went to checkout this pizza spot in Staten Island, NY(aka NY's forgotten borough 🤭 ). I learned of the place from Onebite & he scored it a 7.9. We both agreed it's better than that, to me an 8.3. It's located on 3 Navy Pier Ct Stapleton, Staten Island.

It's bar pizza so much different from pizzeria pizza that I love & am very much used to. We went with the "Olivia" pie which consisted of house made ricotta, spinach and Kalamata olives. It all worked really well together especially the Kalamata olives. Very fresh & light. We planned for 2 spots but the 2nd spot lied to me & told me they'll be open for Memorial Day but when we pulled up they were closed 😔.

These were taken with a galaxy fold right? Looking to buy the Z fold 6 when it comes out in July

SI has a lot of Italians so a lot of good pizza spots. Deninos, Goodfellas, Brothers pizza are all highly rated to be among the best in the city

So I got rid of the Fold(3), the big screen had a small blemish that eventually smothered all around & made it pretty useless. Z Fold 6 you'll be just fine. Of course mine acted up after I was out of the warranty period.

You're right, SI definitely has some high rated pizzerias. I need to venture out there more often. The roads are so smooth & hilly- :emoji_heart: it. Goodfellas is on my list. I got to go back for Nonna's so will do about 3 pizzerias all in the same day when I do. SI is mainly Italians & cops or firefighters, lol.

Tried Pizza Sam in Jackson Heights, Queens. NY. Very big & tasty slices. Onebite rayed it an 8.4 & I can see why. Then Lillian in Forest Hills, Queens, NY. This is Ray Romano's favorite pizza spot.

From there hopped to my all-time favorite pizzeria- Dani's. Dope pizzeria joint in Kew Gardens, Queens, NY with the best sweet sauce. Bonus dessert pics from Eddie's Sweet Shop in Forest Hills, Queens, NY. Eddie's is NYC's oldest ice cream parlor that opened it's doors in 1925.

Love the other spots. I’ve been meaning to check out Pizza Sam.

Eddie’s is such a legendary ice cream parlor. Oldest ice cream spot in Queens (not sure if it’s the oldest in all of NYC). Then you have the legendary Cinemart theater across the street. If you’re from Queens, you have to experience both places at least once in your life.

House of the Dragon! I saw them setting up the Team Black banners at Citi Field last week.
That's dope!

Def do Pizza Sam. Aim for their Sicilians. Eddie's according to Google is the oldest in all of NYC. It's so old-school in there ❤️ it. I need to read up on the Cinemart theater. You been 🍕 hopping lately?

Night out on town. L'Industrie first & then Ace's in Brooklyn for Detroit style 🍕. Italian in The Village at Bar Pitti. Bonus pics of the Empire State building top wrapped in some Game of Thrones prequel dragon inflatable

Anyone been to Gino’s east in SoCal? Might take the drive this weekend.

I’ve been slacking on my Pizza Adventures. I heard a new pizza spot opened in Jackson Heights on Northern Blvd. It’s called Elements. Definitely want to check it out.

Yeah I liked it - think I posted about it a min back in here! Have fun! 🤝
Ended up going today. Customer service was great. Right now they’re offering a Chicago dog for a limited time, in which they import ingredients from Chicago. Was pretty good. Wings are fire. Deep dish is pretty good, I prefer Tony’s little Italy in placentia.

Overall, I’d definitely go again.

New pizzeria in Jackson Heights, Queens called Elements. I believe the owner of this spot also owns nearby Parva bakery (a Colombian bakery). Decent pizza, a little pricier than normal. Very thin crusts and the Margherita slice is small. But decent overall and the homemade strawberry lemonade hit the spot on a hot/humid day like today.
