Sorry to hear that you are having such a hard time getting that lens ....

In the meantime - just use what you have on 35 and get use to the focal lengh if you havent done so ..

Yep. Terrible day too. Started raining as soon as we got there. Then we come back to Toronto and find out there was a Tornado...

keep trying for that 35mm.. its well worth the wait

i posted this a few pages back but no answer so i'll post again: After you edit a Raw photo and make it a JPEG what do you do with the RAW file.. keep itfor more editing later or delete it?

^I keep the RAW.
Not entirely sure what I should do with the RAW files too, but when I get PS and learn how to use it, I may go back to edit some shots. ehh?

Do you guys think I should jump on a 28mm f/2.8 for $200, or should I just wait for the 35mm f/1.8 to re-stock?

I shoot DX btw.

Just wait and save your money and get the 35mm when they restock.

I did a remake of an old photo tonight, I was unlucky as the lights were turned off. The first one shot with a Ricoh GX200 (compact), the second one is a Canon40D + 10-22.. (this is the part where I start to miss my old friend the 40D..

165kicks, I really like the viewpoints of the first 2 photos that you posted. They give it a somewhat unique look than those traditional nighttime/ trailing lights shots.

I think I said this before but after a while, point and shoots (minus I guess the G10 since Santi seems to utilize it to well) look like cell phone pics. Dope2nd photo.
