Official NT dad thread: can the dads get love

Didn't know there was a thread for this[emoji]128526[/emoji]
My princess is only two weeks old but I just can't help but to stare and hold her. She barely cries(only when hungry and needs to be changed) but she is just a chill lil girl[emoji]128516[/emoji]
Too much estrogen in the house right now though. I love my mother in law and my moms but damn can my wife and I have our little family[emoji]128516[/emoji]
But I do appreciate the help, first date night yesterday in awhile and it felt good but all we talked about was our daughter[emoji]128516[/emoji]
Having a child does change you.
I have a hard exterior due to life but when I see her I brighten up. Love this little girl.

Can't wait to have my own kids

View media item 1446879Lil man got his own room now so I had to get him a cool bed so he will stay in. Now he tells me to get out and doesn't leave this place. Crazy a couple years ago me, him and my girl were sharing a room at my pops place, then got a 1 bd apartment now we got a 2 bd and can finally afford to live free. Work hard for this lil guy man I tell u, can't wait another couple years til he's old enough to know what Disney world is and take him.

Expecting, she is like 6 weeks in. Might be having complications though (tubal ectopic). I have only known since Wednesday officially, have only told my 3 friends and not my parents family yet

Congrats man. Tough to hear. I went though a rough pregnancy myself. We were literally at the doctors once a week :x 3 of those times were HUGE scares. At the end of it all the little guy came out 2 weeks early and we had to live in the hospital pretty much for a month. I mean we COULD of left but who the **** would want to leave their new born???? After it was all said and done little man was all good.

Wish the best for you guys man

So cold that morning all the kids looked like little homeless people :lol

:rollin that's cool that little dude is playing.

I asked my dad the other day if he ever expected me to go pro and he confessed to me that he never thought much of it, he just wanted to keep me out of trouble. :lol :{ I was hurt.

Man at this age you're just happy if they all don't just run off the field to go pee (which has happened) :lol

All those little kids together and they become a pack of stray dogs. It's hilarious to watch

Thanks. Well, even before the baby, she is in the doctors 3-4-5x a week anyways. Her body's immune system sucks, I guess the result of being a type 1 diabetic with 1/3 a pancreas and no gall bladder. She's just generally some type of sick all the time and things that would be minor to normal people like even period cramps or colds, are like catastrophic, unbearable pain for her and last forever. Also, since she didn't know she was pregnant until last week, she had been on some rough prescription medication (and occassionally drinking) that they had to take her off of immediately. If the pregnancy fails, which is bad enough in its own right, but I'd hate for her to feel some type of way towards herself like she killed the baby taking all those meds and being so resistant to taking a pregnancy test to know to begin with. Her body is so stressed, I just wonder and she does too as it's something we've talked about before, if she can even take a pregnancy. Whole reason we weren't using protection to begin with (plus because condoms suck)
Not to damper the tone of the thread though, I'll put it in a spoiler

Praying for you and your lady for the best outcome in that situation. Just be there for her and stay strong for her while you guys go through it. It will be all worth it in the end.

Our little man turned 8 months over the weekend and he is crawling all over the place too. I was so hyped for him to get mobile, but now I see why other parents say "don't rush it," this little guy is into everything!

My little man is on the left, with my best friend's son. We were at his birthday party for turning 1 over the weekend. It was Lego themed, but they used the bigger blocks for them and they spent most of the day trying to eat them all
