My son played T-ball last year and he kinda liked it..We had bad coaches so the kids didn't learn much and by the time games came around it wasn't fun for them cause they lost all but 1..We mentioned putting him in it this year and he said he wanted to play, but he never really talked about it so we knew he wasn't really feeling it too much..(Our son is one of those kids that won't stop talking about something fun they're going to go do)..So we kept him out this summer..But next year he'll be 7 1/2 by the time summer sports roll around and I think he'll be more coordinated and a little older so that will help him understand how to play the sport he's in..
I let them pick but they ain't doing **** if grades are low.
My 10 yr olds athletic ability is off the charts. Agile, flexible, strong but in the classroom his anxiety kicks in and he shuts down when he doesn't find something interesting. He tutored 3 hrs after school when we pulled him outta fb last yr, kid was barely passing. My man

progress reports coming so hopefully his grades are up to par.
I swear bad coaches ruin the entire spirit of the game. Both my nephew and my step son had bad coaches. Dudes worrying more about they Jays and matching they outfits than actually teaching the game. Hopefully I can coach a football team next year
