I guess my point was don't be scared to do those "manly" things with your daughter because a lot of time they want to do those things because some of them think that their fathers wanted sons (like this girl), so they want to be in a position to please their fathers.

Tonight I had a semi convo with my eldest (girl 12yrs) about boys. This **** don't come with guidelines yo. She confessed that a boy gave her a side hug in regards to a truth and dare game. As much as I wanted to instill fear, I knew I couldn't. I want her to trust me and wifey. Explained to her that she has to know her worth from within and not to let anybody sweet talk her. Got into personal boundaries, appropiate touch, avoid attn seeking..etc..
**** was draining but brief. All I can hope is that she makes the right decision and becomes a good example to her 3yr old sister. Anybody going through that stage with their kiddos in here in regards to the "talk"...

Man, last year when our son was 9, my wife was dropping him off at before school care at the YMCA. He told my wife that a kid told his friend that he watched an adult movie where the girl put her mouth on a man's private & went up & down... :x
His question to his mother was what was the "white stuff" that came out onto the girl's face. Needless to say my wife was like :x
. She told him we would take to him later that evening.
My wife called me as she was pulling off & when she said my name when I answered, the stress in her voice made me think she just got into a bad accident.
When she told me, I was like. Now mind you, the kid that mentioned the movie is the same kid that told my son's friend about Santa.
We had already talked about anatomy of woman & men the year before. We even got some age appropriate books from the library to read together that the librarian helped pick out.
We weren't prepared to have the actual sex conversation. Hind site being what it is, we're glad we had it then. We went over everything we could, even talking about porn...
After the fact though, we were like

I remember my little brother went to a 5th school dance at school and my mom said when they picked him u pshe asked did he have fun and he told my mom and step-dad that it was good and that one of his friends had sex
When I was in college, I would substitute teach at my county middle school just to kill time (my mom was the principal). These little 6/7th grade girls coming in with huge *** hickies on their necks and telling boys to ride their bus home because their mom worked late on "x" date

Everytime I read this thread, it just makes me so proud to be a part of NT.
It's going on two weeks now and she still haven't had her period. She took the test Monday and it said she isn't pregnant though .. Today I think me and her had an actual talk about trying to have a baby. Recently, we been acting like we're not trying and if it happens, it happens, and "if it's meant to be" kind of thing.
But today she told me that we would make a great familiy, and that she would be so happy to have my baby. Man the joy of just thinking about raising a kid with this woman brought the biggest smile to my face. So hopefully I'll be joining you guys soon .. can't wait to post in here with an expected date. I need a change in my life and I actually feel like I'm ready now.

This is why having a baby with the right girl is so important... glad my wife/baby mama isn't one of "those girls" where she can help guide my daughter in the right direction...
