I think Nike knows we will cop regardless and they would rather just sell us old tech instead of upgrading for the same price. They were all about protro-ing the Kobe 1s. But the 1s didn’t sell as well as the expected, I guess. Then they stopped lol and kept with the catchy name, protro. But I feel ya, I hooped in the last retros and they’re not great.
