We've been over this many times.

12 year career...4-5 great seasons...2 all time great seasons.

His big thing is he won NFL MVPs and a Super Bowl is his all time great seasons.

He also had seasons where he was playing musical chairs to start with guys like Matt Leinart and Marc Bulger.

Bruh if you don't think Warner deserves to be in the HOF you need to pass along whatever it is that you're smoking so we can all enjoy it too.

The lol is all I'm saying. There is no need for buckling up or any of that nonsense. I'd rather argue Michael Irvin vs. Jerry Rice again before I give this kid the time of day.

Torry Holt deserving to be in the Hall of Fame more than Kurt Warner :rollin :rollin :rollin

Let's be rational about this Warner debate.

Cons:
Late start to his career.
Raw stats aren't overly impressive.
Mid-career lull from '02-'06. Went 8-22 as a starter, threw 30 INT compared to 27 TD.

Pros:
2 MVPs. Every player in the history of football with multiple MVPs got inducted into the HOF.
Played in 3 SB. Only QB to throw for 300+ yards in three SB.
4-time Pro Bowler.
Led league in passing TD twice.

Good breakdown.

When he was great, he was all time great but he also just as many mediocre years as great ones.

Also he really only started 7 seasons worth of games.

just came across this on a Fantasy article...thoughts?

I write this every year, but I'm going to keep writing it until somebody finally listens. The NFL bye-week schedule is wack. It makes no sense. Nobody should have a bye in Week 4. Here's what you do (and it's simple). The NFL bye weeks should occur during Weeks 9-12. Two divisions are off, and are rotated every year. Simple. But the NFL doesn't do that. But that's not a surprise when you consider how complicated the catch rules are.

Kurt Warner's career numbers are very similar to Steve Young's. He will be a HOF

Anyone think Randall Cunningham, Phil Simms, Theisman, Romo, Matt Ryan, McNabb (If they retire without rings) get in the hall? Curious

I agree. I think teams should get 2 bye weeks. They extended the superbowl from late January, to Mid february. Teams should get more bye weeks. Also, more players should be able to dress out, on Sundays. Players should not have to wear sweat suits on the sideline, if they're healthy.

There's more media and photographers on the sideline, than actual players.

If teams could dress out 60-75 players, via increased roster availability, games would be better. Fresher players to rotate.

A old coach explained it to me like this..There are 23 weeks in the NFL season before the playoffs. Theres 6 weeks of preseason. If your bye week is Week 4, its really week 10 of the 23 week schedule.

Played in 3 SB. Won 1. Only QB to throw for 300+ yards in three SB.

1st Ballot.

He already missed out on that champ.

2nd ballot.

I'm pretty sure he won't make it in next year either

3rd ballot.

It's gonna be a while

19th ballot? :\
