As a UMD graduate that has given money in support of my school. I wouldn't call myself a booster in the traditional sense. Not millions but thousands of my own money. I don't want Chip as our head coach. He's a great college coach but I'd rather root against him personally. Again though my money isn't long enough to have a say.

I've watched zero Texans games this year and probably will flip through channels for this game.. or do some work

how are they using clowney?
Clowney has actually been playing well.  Showing signs of future stardom.

But yes the rest of their team is a chore to watch right now, unless you enjoy QB trainwrecks (which can be fun)

Texans would be much much better if they had a quarterback. Hell, I'd go as far to say they would be competing for the division.

afc south aint exactly the toughest division in the world.. see luck's record in the division then out of it

I mean they're basically competing for the division right now.  That's how sad the AFC South is.  If they win tonight they're right in it.

Has to be worst division of the decade, right?  I guess you can throw the NFC West we won over St. Louis in there but those teams weren't quite as piss-awful.

You ain't lying..they are a chore to watch.

I watched the 1st game vs the Chiefs and the 1st quarter vs the Falcons, they were already down by 14 points when I changed it.

And I low key was thinking about being a Texans fan but they are a boring team besides Watt.

I don't see them winning with Bill O'Brien as head coach.  I don't see what he does well.

I was just saying...It's not like they're devoid of talent. And they get Foster back tonight.

You don't say.
In all fairness last season we were playing for our playoff hopes without having a QB on the last game of the season coming for 2-14 ( team shouldn't have been 2-14 anyways but I digress )

This season no Foster and basically no o-line.

and mallet can throw a football 90 mph and that's it.

The defense holds as long as it can but then falls apart due to fatigue with sloppy play and bad penalties ( never been a Crennel fan)
That's true, though competing for that spot was definitely a reflection of the division more than the team.  Probably not a 2-14 team but not a 7-9 team either so the slide back was to be expected.

It is crazy to think of how much talent Smith had put there 3-5 years ago but they did miss their window.  I'm not a Crennel fan either and someone else could get more out of a defense that has decent talent.

Rick smith needed to be fired when Kubes was fired. Was never a fan of not clearing house completely.

Outside of first round picks and Foster and his mid tier FA signings he's been abysmal.

Yeah you guys were very top heavy.  And obviously you can't afford to keep those guys around when all your best players are 1st rounders.

The mid-tier FA hits is a good talent though, lots of GMs suck at that.

At least you know my pain of not having a QB

Nice.

Robert Mays also pointed out today how guys like Derek Anderson, Tavaris Jackson, and Brian Hoyer all got more than Tyrod Taylor this summer.

In what way?
There was an article I posted here a week or so back that was a nice film breakdown.  Kind of lazy to find it.  But he's been excellent against the run holding the edge and good in collapsing the pocket towards Watt.
