I don't see living in Tuscaloosa as undesirable for a college head coach especially a guy like Nick Saban.

You said he won't go to a major college because he doesn't want to deal with alot of boosters.

Straight up that has to be one of the dumbest things I have ever read on any type of website

Now I know what you're going to say..." when did I say anything about a major college?"

So I'll just respond now and say find me a major college without a ton of boosters

actually I said:

And if chip is going back to college, it has to be a place without a ton of boosters
So can't see him going to Texas

WTF that's exactly what I just said. You must have had the same teachers as Mayweather
where do you say:

"TEXAS"
And if chip is going back to college, it has to be a place without a ton of boosters.
So can't see him going to Texas

Tier 1 contracts: QBs
Tier 2 contracts: DBs, LBs
Tier 3 contracts: OL, DL, K
Tier 4 contracts: WR, RB, TE

IMO.

I agree for the most part.

Generation players obviously don't fall into this gap.

I've said it before, you don't draft WRs top 10 or pay them big money.

You get a QB and let them make the WRs elite (obviously you need the talent) and rinse and repeat.

packers / stealers are notorious for this.

Look at the top 5/10 Paid WRs and count their playoff wins.

Bet you it's around 5

exactly
We saw what Mike Wallace and Greg Jennings were really about with out those elite QB's

No human in their right mind would choose to live in Tuscaloosa over Austin TX but Nick Saban did... and from I've read/heard it was because of the booster situation at UT.

But does Alabama have a ton of boosters?
Don't pull me into the back and forth... Yes Bama has boosters, of course. But it seems that the atmosphere with the UT boosters isn't attractive to the top CFB coaches, even though UT has more built in perks than almost any other school in the country.
The issue with UT is that Strong is black.

Mack brown left that cupboard bare as hell also.

So what you're telling me is you were saying you only implied Texas and not all the other major schools with top boosters?

what I said (which had nothing to do with you):
And if chip is going back to college, it has to be a place without a ton of boosters.. He loathed dealing with that aspect of things while in Oregon and you only gotta really deal with Phil knight there.. So can't see him going to Texas

And when I laughed at you it had nothing to do with Texas and everything to do with you're first sentence
Also if you're going to flame me because i hit the report button once, you probably shouldn't report me :lol

I've been reported twice by you..

and I'm going go out on a limb and assume it wasn't just me.. sooooooo anything you do, I'm going to report it

You guys spent hours debating Rice vs Irvin with someone who clearly has no ability to compromise his thoughts or opinions. :lol

Dude probably didn't even watch Rice play

Why you guys wasting so much energy debating a 14 year old!

On tonight's Colts at Texans TNF game:

- I have to think the Colts spent the four-day week knowing with a certainty that Hasselbeck would be their starter, and that their game plan would have to be crafted around that. Yeah, they said they were taking it day-by-day, but we had heard Luck say, 'Well, Tuesday didn't go as planned...' after Tuesday's practice. Assuming that the Colts have been handcrafting a game plan that's suitable to Hasselbeck's deep-ball limitations, whereas the Texans defense had to prepare for both in a four-day span, I think that favors Indianapolis in this matchup. I think this means we'll see a lot of possession receivers reeling in balls and Houston's nickel package/corner will be vital.

- I'm going to be watching Jadeveon Clowney very closely. Wasn't impressed with what I saw against Atlanta last week, but (if he stays healthy throughout his career) he should be the guy who will be able to dominate once he's learned the techniques that will supplement his gold mine of physical tools. Just don't see it yet. Will be exciting to see if he can get after Hasselbeck on a national stage - and of course JJ Watt too.

- Vontae Davis' availability will surely play into this one.

Right now, I like Indianapolis +5. I really don't know if Ryan Mallett succeeds coming home, coming off of being benched after three quartrers on the road. The vultures and pitchforks will be out if things start to go really bad.

I've watched zero Texans games this year and probably will flip through channels for this game.. or do some work

how are they using clowney?

Ahmad Brooks on an indefinite leave from the 9ers due to family reasons

Edit: sister passed
49ers LB Ahmad Brooks will not play vs Giants after his 40-year-old sister, Casandra, died of Lupus, per Brooks’ agent Greg Williams.
