Speed at LB is incredibly important in today's game. Watch the closing speed on the Seattle LB corps. :x It's NUTS.

So who do you pay?

1- QB

2- OL

3- ??

RB has turned into a dime a dozen... only a couple guys get paid at that position now... Safety is important.
That's always been a conundrum.

Putting a QB behind a bad O line only ruins the QB.

QB

OL

DB

LB

DL

Skill positions.

MLB
Safety

Actually no. When has a WR ever been the difference between SB or just playoffs?

Fitzgerald? Hasn't happened that often but there are times WRs absolutely ball out and are a main reason for a championship or SB appearance

Exactly what I mean. A top pick is supposed to change your franchise around. It took arguably the greatest post season run by a WR to have a team lose in a SB.

QB
OT
DE
CB

Crown jewels. S is comin up fast tho.
I'd put WRs in there too.. only way you're getting a AJ green or calvin Johnson or Julio (6'3+ player with speed) you gotta go top 5

and you can now take the right safety top 10, but they gotta have coverage skills.. with the emphasis on TEs and RBs in the receiving game.. and offenses limiting defenses ability to go nickel

The DB position is truly becoming the most sought after position to fulfill beit through draft picks or player development

You said he won't go to a major college because he doesn't want to deal with alot of boosters.
Straight up that has to be one of the dumbest things I have ever read on any type of website
Now I know what you're going to say..." when did I say anything about a major college?"
So I'll just respond now and say find me a major college without a ton of boosters
actually I said:
And if chip is going back to college, it has to be a place without a ton of boosters
So can't see him going to Texas

No human in their right mind would choose to live in Tuscaloosa over Austin TX but Nick Saban did... and from I've read/heard it was because of the booster situation at UT.

You gotta have safeties and LBers who can keep up with TEs/slot WRs in today's game. Look at the Bobby Wagner's and Jamie Collins' of the world. Dudes who look like Dodge Vipers zipping from sideline-to-sideline. Those are the $$$ players in today's NFL (once again, in my opinion).

You may not get an AJ but there are play makers on EVERY TEAM IN THE LEAGUE.

They are not as hard to come by as you think.

Antonio Brown 6th round

WTF that's exactly what I just said. You must have had the same teachers as Mayweather
where do you say:

"TEXAS"

I was just having a conversation about whats more important, Safety or CB. Which position would you rather have the elite player at. And I gotta go safety, FS specifically.

I had some friends say DB's. It was split. This all started when I told my LSU buddy i'd rather have Mathieu over PP. Then I said i'd rather have the Ed Reeds, ET's and Sean Taylors, over someone like Sherman or Revis. Free safeties job entails so much more. And over the years, truly elite Free safeties are very very rare. If i ever got my hands on one as a team thats my #1 priority to lock up on D. There's an abundance of great corners out there.

I'm with you.. and same goes for other positions.. but there are certain WRs I would take top 5-10

AP would probably be the only exception I would make for a RB in recent years just off of what we saw at Oklahoma.. and dude that plays at LSU now

Word, gonna need BB to pay my man Jamie Collins this offseason :lol

Collins & Gronk are the only Patriots i respect

everyone else can go to hell :lol

:rollin. There's some good dudes on the squad :lol. Only Jets I really mess with would probably be Revis and Marshall. You guys made me root against Leonard Williams though :{

But does Alabama have a ton of boosters?
Don't pull me into the back and forth... Yes Bama has boosters, of course. But it seems that the atmosphere with the UT boosters isn't attractive to the top CFB coaches, even though UT has more built in perks than almost any other school in the country.

Maybe, im not aware of the Texas booster situtation.
But to say a top college coach is going to a college without a ton of boosters makes zero sense. This could be anywhere from Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Texas, LSU, Miami. You're going to have a ton of boosters who want wins. It's what comes with the job of being a coach of a major conference school
