Has the idea that maybe Pop benched his stars to produce a better product for his upcoming games and saw fit that his star players where not going to put on a "show" in the Miami game. Because according to Stern its all just entertainment no matter the outcome, right?

He definitely is a kiss ***.

However, he's supposed to be. That's his role to make the dynamic between them two work. More entertaining this way.
 
Nah bruh it ain't him playing a "role"...he does the same **** when he's broadcasting Knick games. I get that even announcers will have their biases but dude goes out of his way to suck management off and EVERY benefit of the doubt is for the refs/league. He's as vanilla as it gets.

He's fine strictly as a play-by-play guy...it's when he throws his 2 cents in that I

The dynamic between JVG and Breen is entertaining, you right about that.

No.

He'll sign a near max deal. And gradually become more and more disinterested with basketball.

Makes his $100-150 mil in his career, and retires at 30.

Then tries to comeback.
