Why doesnt Stern just come out and make it a rule from now on?
From now on, if you are in a nationally televised game before December, with an above .500 record versus another above .500 team, with an all-star player on your roster, you must make sure they play that game

Watch POP next time he wants to rest his players, he will insert them as usual for the opening tip and then bench them the very first dead ball. Technically he did play them.

Anybody that rests a player, tanks at the end of the season, etc, he has to chase them down now don't he? Or only for national broadcasts?

He did specifically mention that it being an early season game made it a problem. Luckily for Stern, most coaches don't care for their players as much as the Spurs do, Pop is the only coach that blatantly rests his players like this. He won't have to chase down much.

This is the most action we seen all season, on here, Twitter, everywhere. On radio this morning it was everywhere, it's been great for the league really.
I think last year really pissed everyone off and we're all glad to have this **** back the right way this year.
