that was a great fight

shamrock as usual was too cocky, but it was great to see the two have respect for each other during and after the fight. the whole 'i got you' aftereach of them connected was fun to see.

very nice to see the standup fighting.....but we'll need to see how cung will do if he gets taken down.

Some guy says one of Cung Le's students tell his friend that Frank will lose in some "controversial way" to setup a rubber match (obvioiuslyFrank would win the next one).

He gets contacted by everyone including Strikeforce reps to give up his source.

Cung wins in a weird way.

I am a big fan of Cung Le and i hope none of this is true, if so...

Give credit to Shamrock though, he tried to fight him standing up. If it went to the mat, I'm sure the match would have went the other way. Everyone knowsthat. Cung Le was smart enough to not even go there.

I think Shamrock underestimated the power of Le's kicks.

Cung Le fought a smarter match.

I refuse to believe this fight was a work. Sure, Frank wanted to put on a show and he did. Near the end of the third, Le was in big trouble. But you could seethe kick affecting Franks arm toward the end. All I know is that it was a damn exciting fight.

^ As in Anderson Silva? Cung and Silva fight for 2 different organizations. If they did fight, it would be a stand-up war. I would have Silva winning, for thesimple fact that hes arguably the best P4P fighter right now and hes faced tougher competition (Franklin, Henderson, Lutter, Marquardt, Leben). Cung has foughtanyone except Shamrock.

Read that Le-Shamrock work post on Sherdog... I wouldn't put it past Frank to organize something like this. He admittedly loves money, and would no doubtpull the wool over MMA fans eyes in order to gain an extra 2 pay-days.

That said, the fight was amazing (round 3, particularily) and I really hope these rumours are nothing more than that-- rumours.

Im actually JUST now recovering fully from shoulder surgery.

Ill be back to full-time training in a couple of weeks, with a new camp as well.
