I work as a projectionist at a theater thats showing it.
I was hyped when I saw the ad.
Went to go check with box office to see much admission was.
$20.
For that much, you might as well find a friend and split the cost of the actual pay-per-view.
Maybe even some brew or somethin.

damn really? $20 is a bit steep. I mean there is some value to seeing it on a huge screen like that, but you can't even drink at most movie theatres. Part of the enjoyment is the whole experience. Not just watching the fights, but getting together with friends, grubbin out on some food, drinking some beers, etc... etc... I typically order the PPV at my place and invite the crew over, but I've been in the process of moving for the better part of 6 months now and my living room is an effin trainwreck. Luckily I found the next best option, a bar about half a mile from my place that shows every UFC PPV with no cover AND they have weekend happy hour that runs til 8pm! I just load up on 2 for 1 drinks and apps til 8pm and then I cruise the rest of the way with 2-3 regular priced brews (yea i know, I'm frugal and damn proud of it). Usually I can end up walking out with a bar tab of around $60 for me and my wife which is pretty close to what it would cost for me to order the PPV. Best part, no having to clean up after all my friends!
If anyone happens to live in or around West LA (longshot), I'll be posted up at Cabo Cantina this Sat for the fights. Maybe I'll see someone there.

thiago alves isnt fighting fitch. they found something in his brain with the cat scan and hes pulled out. the fight is canceled. anyone else going to the fight? im goign to the weigh in and the fight on sat

This guy has been out of action for like a year now, I was really looking forward to that fight too. Ah well, hopefully he's alright and they just add that fight to 112 or 113.

Very dangerous fight for Fitch. Good job on both guys taking the fight. To be honest, I wouldn't mind if Saunders does geta title shot if he wins. The only fights I'm intrested in now in the welterweight divison for GSP is Saunders and Paulo Thiago.

I wanted to see Alves vs. Fitch. Oh well. Maybe they will add Jake Ellenberger vs. Thiago Alves for 113 or 114 since they have no matches.

1. i think JDS is good but he needs to add size if he wants to fight against Brock/Mir/Carwin. Those guys are HUGE2. Jones wont fight Rashad, they train together.3. How could the King Mo vs Mousasi turn into a mismatch? I can understand hendo vs shields though.4. Saunders shouldnt get a title shot. It should be Koscheck.

This is wayyy to big of a step up for King Mo. He is still a prospect, he's not ready for Mousasi or any Top 10 LHW for that matter.

Dont get me wrong, I like Fitch and admire his ability to control almost every welterweight in the division.

I will be in attendance for 111! Was one of the lucky few who got free tix from Dana last night. I was the second one to get there and he handed me 4 lower level tix which run for over 400$ each
, I was just going to be satisfied with a bleacher seat or something
. This is definitely a dream come true since GSP is my favorite fighter and this is the first event remotely close to NYC. Dana was a cool dude too, let me take a pic and even gave a call to one of my friends for me, I should be on his vlog and might even get the chance to meet GSP prior to the fight if he remembers to call in my seats to come back stage
