OFFICIAL LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 2024-2025 SEASON THREAD

Good point. I think, like you alluded to the other day, we gotta move on from JJ OR get a legit 3&D SF. Or if we can move DJ for a star SF. I really wish there were a way to turn DJ into PG. CP3 is good enough to make any C useful offensively. Just get a rim protector big and we'd be good. Just Imagine PG guarding the opponent's best wing and creating his own shot late in the 4th. Would solve a lot of problems. Would never happen tho.

Also, in regards to the rebounding. I'm so tired of Doc's refusal to let Blake/DJ go for OREBs. You see us get killed on 2nd chance points every night and when we shoot, our guys are just running back on D. **** that. We have the most athletic C/PF combo. Let them crash the offensive glass and if it leads to a couple fast breaks so be it.

20th in the league in OREB
23rd in the league giving up OREB

Unacceptable.

Been saying this about rebounding. Coaching has used djs rebounding as an excuse to let Blake release. Crash 2 on both ends and send 3 back on d. Smh.

Blake is a 10+ reb a game talent that doesn't do it because of "scheme"

^^^ Team is just kind of a mess right now. Not doing anything particularly well and doing a few things, like rebounding and defending the 3, poorly. When we've won lately it's been on pure talent and luck more than anything else. That's not going to cut it in the West playoffs.

Even CP said the other day they need to figure out what their identity is. That's not what you want to be hearing from a team's on floor leader in March.

I know the Grizzlies have been playing like **** lately, but still. This team resembles good Clippers

^

The Grizzlies aren't very good right now, and i'm not high on the grizzlies honestly so should we go on to win this game, it would be expected. Even if we're on a 2nd of a B2B.

The Clippers are bad right now, for sure. But at their peak, a healthy GSW is the only team that I truly believe the Clippers can't / shouldn't beat. They're obviously really bad right now, and this team is indeed flawed as I've mentioned beforebut if they can somehow regain that mojo with these last 18 games after tonight, I would still feel good about LAC heading into the postseason. They aren't as bad as they've looked since AS break.

You just hope that the Clips can regain that mojo that they once had at the beginning of the season.

Like they have a cupcake schedule to end the season after tonight, so you hope LAC can use these teams to regain their footing, and resemble the team that they've looked like at certain other parts this season.

Solid win on the road on the 2nd night of a B2B. Let's get a streak going man.

Memphis is the only playoff team that's a bigger mess than us :lol

Optimistic erupt says Doc staggering Blake/CP3 will help tremendously moving forward. Big game Monday.

Agreed. Doc been staggering the past five games or so. Just sucks that it took a really bad stretch for him to finally do it.

CP is still very good at basketball. We probably have about five more wins / less losses if he was healthy this year. His shooting has been on point all season.

That's 5 of our last 6. 7 of our last 11. Need to continue and build on this monday. More momentum, more.

I honestly did not realize we've won 5 of 6. Feels like we've been worse than that. LOL.

still hate the cycle of

espn/any sports news article pops up about any bball topic, i comment on it, then the next 10 people comment on the clippers after noticing you're a LAC fan.

95% of fans and maybe even people in life have no idea what proper context means

example: draymond green complains about being "unfairly judged" in regards to his tech and fouls called on him. a clippers fan says "guys like you and cousins bring it on yourself".

next 25 comments: "LAC is the biggest whiners etc etc etc"

but the article isnt about LAC jerky, its about draymond green. G T F O H

(just random LAC related thoughts)

^^^ And, TBH, that Clipper complaining narrative is kind of tired and not that accurate anymore. Draymond complains about calls far more than any Clipper.

clippers are def guilty of flopping at times and trying to work refs during games. but as far as i know, they have never taken the "unfair treatment" narrative to the press. true clippers fans know the true nature of gsw players. they have always been complainers and s**t talkers.

^^^ Yeah, I wasn't saying we don't ever complain or flop, but it's not disproportionately more than most NBA teams, which many people still seem to believe.

Great half. CP on fire, seems like he's been on fire all season shooting wise. Austin was great playing Downhill in center PnR. Felton is really good.

^^^ Kind of concerned about BG's lack of production, but otherwise very solid half.

CP is going to have to go God mode now for us to pull this one out. That's the only way.

The law of averages was bound to kick in against Utah sooner or later. No excuses, but I'm not really mad about this one.

Also, our schedule post all-star break has been weird as hell. We haven't played consecutive games at home all month. That can't be easy.
