The Lakers have some god awful contracts right now

The straight up trade that works on NBA Trade Machine taht I keep going back to is Pau/Bynum for Howard/Arenas. You gotta believe Orlando wants (in the worst way) to get rid of Gilbert's contract and would almost hold Dwight ransom for some team to have to take Gilbert too. For as bad as Gilbert seemed at times, he's an upgrade from Fisher (that's not saying much) and still commands some respect on the offensive end.

3 years is a long time?   They don't have anyone signed for more than 3 years, from now. 
The only thing that bugs the hell out of me is, Luke Walton's contract.

none of our starting lineup needs to be touched. we need a stronger bench then we are good. we had a 7-8 man rotation going against a mavs team that had two separate lineups coming of the bench

anybody wanting howard is a tool. why were u not asking for him when we went 17-1 after the all-star break ??? like i stated before, we just need a better bench then we are a contender. i still don't understand how walton is on the team
