Those BHM's are strictly a court Shoe, maybe workout shoe.

Casual wears are impossible

Of all the Nike Signatures this is by far the most casual friendly. They almost have a runner profile. And being that most people's "casual" today is overpriced sweat pants if probably fits right in. :D

I have the day off tomorrow, I think I'm going to hit the mall for my pair of BHMs.  I don't think I can wait for them to be shipped to me. LOL

Did you own a pair of the X?

No, I have my 7's, which have actually held up quite nicely,.... on the same surfaces!

I can't carry a mop or broom with me to the court every time I play!  I never had to before!

the X have the same sole and they needed to be broken in. I'm sure it's the same case with the XI.

Also, the 7s were the worst performing Kobe in the line (for myself, many others and even Kobe ditched them quick).

7s looked nice, but didn't feel great wearing. First Kobe I had up half a sz. These XI look okay so far, but have yet to try. I'm flatfooted so tts is a no for 7, 9, and X kobes.

That's unfortunate for you. So get your refund and move on to another shoe. You probably ended up saving cash. These XIs are going to break my wallet.

7's are the worst kobe...
.. in terms of tread and traction?  Comfort and fit I'll agree with you on that,

but...

Three years use of the sevens vs 2hours  with the elevens, on the same surface?   Unless you have an  in-game damp cloth to wipe down the tread up and down the court, when playing on a surface with a slight amount of dust, you'll be sliding all over the place.

Anyhow my shoes are reboxed.  If Nike will not take them back I'll try and resell online somewhere.

You're writing off a shoe after 2hrs?

Wow we have been spoiled. Remember when it used to take a week to break in shoes with all leather? Your feet would hurt but you really liked them so you would deal with it until they felt awesome.

I suggest wearing your shoes some more and breaking in the soles like it was necessary on the X.

this is what I am hoping. Has anyone been wearing them and experienced some kind of break in? Have mine and am waiting to bring them bring until people try them broken in. Don't want to give up but can't play league games in a shoe with bad traction

Gonna wear them daily for a month and then judge traction. By then more people should have experienced it too and I can decide if I'll return them or not. I really like this shoe so fingers crossed

Mannn I been wearing the bhm nonstop since yesterday, wore em to a friends bday party and I got the "what are thoseee" but in a good way lol...i'm trying to break em in as much as possible, still pretty snug but not uncomfortably snug, if that makes sense
BHMs have been an easy pass for me 'til this pic. Am I really about to make the turn just based on how good they look next to that rug? lol

Leather is not the same thing as rubber, to be fair outsoles do break in but with everyone having this constant of problem I think writing them off is a fair assessment
