So it's that time again where my city will be engulfed with Celebrities hoping to when some money and get a taste of Louisville's finest.
To be honest, a lot of the people who come out here couldn't care less about horse racing, and it's turned more into a social event. I'm sureI'll run into Michael Jordan again rocking an ugly suit and pulling young southern women
But I'm going to make some bets at the off track, and I was wondering if you all had any favorites. And, it's always fun to pick a horse even if youaren't gambling.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Before a race, horseplayers ask, "Who do you like?" For Saturday's 134th Kentucky Derby, the question is: "Hey, is there anybody you don't dislike a lot?"
Rarely has the Run for the Roses included so many pretenders. In a maximum field of 20, there are serious questions about everybody. Even the favorite, Big Brown, and second favorite, Colonel John, have holes in their resumes. Big Brown drew post 20 and makes his fourth career start, and no Derby winner has overcome those situations since 1929 and 1915, respectively. Colonel John has raced only on synthetic tracks in California. Although he has trained impressively at Churchill Downs, morning glory does not necessarily lead to victory, especially in such a brutally difficult race.
"I don't know what's going to happen," said trainer Nick Zito, winner of two Derbys, "but I'd say it's very interesting."

Anybody out here make the trip to Louisville?
It's a shame they don't allow any more cruising on Broadway.
