Nah it really isn't a valuable question and has some pretty awful implications behind it. Considering we heard his opinions on the matter, the context makes it even worse.The song is really good but I can't rock with it. It's not like this is Gucci's music where you can just jgnore the lyrics and message.

It is hypocritical. Also it kinda goes along with his Tupac interview on Mortal Man when he says "If I respect you as a black man we unify and stop the enemy from killing us."

I wouldn't say its out of place at all.

Murder is still murder. Taking a life is still taking a life. Whether it be from racism or a different form of hate, hate is hate , murder is murder. How can you judge anyone if you are a murderer yourself?

Exactly. Its deeper then just murder. Violence against blacks predates, supposed "black on black violence". If Chicago had a murder rate of zero prisons would still be filled with people of color. To somehow draw a connection between the two is nothing more than a deflection.
