Favorite track on the album. The production is flawless and Kendrick skates over it so well. And I swear I hear shades of Dilla amongst the heavy g-funk vibe, but maybe I'm trippin'.

u do hear dilla. flying lotus loved dilla and I'd imagine hes drawn a good bit of his style from dilla. ur not trippin, the influence is obvious

youre absolutely right i mixed the intro and that track up. everything i said bout flylo is true. knowledge who produced this track, the influence is there. very obvious. i dont follow knowledge much tho must admit. but flylo is that dude. i LOVE the beats tht adult swim always get from him.

Yeah, I can't stop playing this album. EVERY single song is fantastic. The production. The song transitions. The interludes. Everything.

Haven't gotten sick of it yet.

I feel the same way but it wasnt that he doesnt like him, he just doesnt listen to him like that. He said he heard about the album and was curious about it and told me to play any song off it so I chose Alright. He liked it, dont know if he ever listened to the album tho lol

Yo I don't know I like that Kendrick gives time for his material to marinate and waits till he is inspired organically to creat sounds. But foreal though, he needs to find inspiration more often.

Ima be 31 if he waits 3 year to drop. Another completely different time in my life and mind. Although from GKMC to butterfly his subject matter was able to grow same way I did from 25-28.

Just like any fan though I just want to hear him more. TPAB still played daily.
