Yo Sinner Sinner !!!! I can dig it!!!!!! I'd rep you a hundred times if I could on that post!!!!

Here's hoping the spring gets warmer here in the DelMarVa region of the states...

Chucho Valdes - Bebo & Santa Cruz

I love this album... Afro-Cuban jazz always reminds me of spring & summer...

No one posts in here that much anymore... :rolleyes :{

I've stated how big a fan I am of Gilles Peterson. His newest project called Sonzeira (Portuguese for Killer Sound) drops May 19th.

I just have a basic standalone turntable for now. Going to get a new setup once I get settled into my new place. I need to research turntables more before I buy one too

Nina Simone - My Baby Just Cares For Me & He Needs Me

April 21st marked the 11th anniversary of her death. RIP.

Are direct-drive turntables still the way to go nowadays?  I have a couple of Technics 1200's... can't go wrong with classics!

I don't think you can go wrong with a direct drive or belt drive although I think serious audiophiles tend to go with belt drive turntables.

Something new... More funk than jazz, but oh well.

Do you guys play any instruments? I want to start piano lessons again

Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Baritone Sax (Been :smokin though) French Horn

Those are what I can play right or whatever.

I can play other woodwinds and other brass instruments with a little practice.

I want to take piano classes for production.

In high school (which was a while back), alto sax mostly, but also a bit of tenor and baritone.  Tried a bit of soprano, but it was just so hard to keep in-tune... I wasn't good enough anyway!

Learned a bit of piano/electronic organ when I was in grade-school, but never continued.

I've posted this a few times, but seems relevant!

More Samba... hey it's a World Cup year!
