OFFICIAL HOCKEY THREAD: NHL, KHL, NCAA, IIHL

I’ll never understand not sticking with Ullmark in net for game 7 after the body of work he posted during the season. Still a lot of game to play (especially with a PP coming after the commercials), but seems like a classic Montgomery decision. He might have been back on the sauce when he made that decision.

should have went to Swayman in game 5 and/or 6. Ulmark tweaked something in his last regular season game and hasn't been the same. you can see when he's trying to get up something is up. he's been off his game...sliding and flopping around like a putz. but putting in Swayman cold for game 7 def tough and questionable. Montgomery is gonna get killed for that decision and playing Clifton in this series as well in this series

20 minutes left to try do something

Well this is why it would’ve been a great upset. Bruins 3 answered what an answer to what would’ve been easy to be stunned by.

Mythbusters: Since they began awarding the Presidents Trophy the winner has won the Cup more often than any other seed.

If Boston doesn't win the Cup it's not because they were the top team all year. It's because the East is stacked. Outside of the wild card teams. That's basically a 1st round bye.
Ya lmao first round bye bye

Montour and Theodore could both still be Ducks but Bob Murray is a moron. :ohwell:

bob murray might have got it right with lindholm tho...dude becomes a shell of himself in the playoffs. two years in row he's turned into a pile of mush

hopefully it's not an actual thing and just a down set of games

Lindholm just isn't a play driver. Said all along that offense to start the year was a mirage. As good as it gets from a pure shutdown perspective but I don't and never did trust him with the puck on his stick.

Murray didn't move him though. The Lindholm trade came once Verbeek took over.

it was insane how it just changed. its like a switch flipped. every pass or clear attempt was just whiffed or right to a panther. regular season was totally different but yeah with the pressure ramped up, guess that's just his game

Yo at the Panthers getting the Bruins out da paint off the ice. :wow:

Bruins following in the Lightning's footsteps from a couple of years ago.

Stanley Cup playoffs are brazy.
