"It's a play where the greatest player in the world (Connor McDavid) is 2 feet away as it happens and his arm comes straight up in the air because he knows that it hit the stick. Otherwise, he wouldn't put his arm up in the air and keep playing," Woodcroft said. "It appears to me and in video that the puck is going straight up in a trajectory and deadens."
I didn't know Connor McDavid moonlighted as a professional ice hockey referee

call me a homer but from the replays I've seen, it went up and down on the same trajectory while flipping end over end
Homer
There’s an angle from the side where you can see the puck stop moving forward and just fall straight down. But they only showed it once after showing the other two useless shots forty times
someone else on Reddit posted a ultra zoomed in slowed to a crawl version and I kinda see it...but hey Toronto didn't so neither did I
yeah I mean at the end of the day, missed calls happen and both teams have plenty of other chances to win or lose games. so I don’t think it takes away from the kings win whether it was right or wrong
Ya that's nice and all but when a games outcome is determined due to a missed call it's pretty wack.yeah I mean at the end of the day, missed calls happen and both teams have plenty of other chances to win or lose games. so I don’t think it takes away from the kings win whether it was right or wrong

Either way this series is going 7 again.
the dumbest part about this was people talking about rigged for LA, as if the NHL wants Sean Durzi and Jared Anderson-Dolan to make it to the next round over Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl
Downvote for that spoiler photothinking rationally I guess the fact that there's still an argument and new Zapruder film footage releasing the next day makes the "insufficient evidence to overturn" reasonable and the refs saw what they saw in real time.
could be worse though
Edit: but yeah they missed it. Oh well…
two cruiserweights going at it
need SEA to comebyke and go to OT for the Saturday Shenanigans
