OFFICIAL HOCKEY THREAD: NHL, KHL, NCAA, IIHL

Huby and Weegar are UFAs next year. Given our cap situation, we couldn't afford them both.

Tkachuk at 24 matches the core's timeline better than Huby at 29. Tkachuk locked in for 8 years at 9.5M. Huby in the open market will probably get more than that

Huby was a beloved Panther, it lowkey hurts lol I don't like the trade but I get why the FO did it

Bergeron and Krejci back :hat

not that it gives me cup hopes...but at least it'll be a fun season and one last go with two of my favorite bruins

the hand eye coordination hockey players have i feel like is pretty underrated. seeing how easily these guys knock down aerial passes or redirect shots is insane

had to get some new Tacks skates after after some ringer hit me with a shot and blew a piece of my blade holder right off the skate. insane how expensive skates are now. went in expecting to drop $500 and ended up dropping just over $700. barrier of entry to play was always big but i can't imagine it nowadays for parents...especially for those with multiple kids that play

that said, excited to see how these new skates work out. was using my old super tacks from HS which i loved and wanted forever but i'd be lying if i said these didn't feel good

You could have typed this in Mandarin and it would have made just as much sense to me.

Should have taken the blade holder and tried to stab him with it for the hassle

Thats just skates too. You should see some of these youth team registrations here

Yea it’s bad in Canada as well. Sticks are like 300 now if you want the newest and best.

I had a buddy who worked for Graf in Ontario that specialized in custom builds for NHL players. He loved his job but had to move on. I always regret not getting him to make me a pair.
