ive only seen about 8 crew members online. half of them kill me when i see them. which aim mode are most of you playing?

^passive mode ftw. $100 well spent. Some dude was shooting at me and I walked right up to him. He realized he couldn't hurt me so he sped off lol

Millions?....must be nice....I guess if I sat at home and ran consecutive base invaders I can see myself getting to a milli...we need to do that, I'll be on tonight after 10pm

I was bout to go to sleep last night when one of those "Simeon needs this car" things popped up... I'm down by the airport and the joint is up in the vinewood hills... I get in the whip and speed up there... Find it (at the observatory) and start driving it down... Get it sprayed, get all the way down to the southern yard where Simeon wants it and 3 MF'ers were sitting there chillin waiting for me to drive in... one of them in Passive mode and the other 2 guns blazing.

Stole the whip off me by shooting me when i came around the corner but got the cops on them so I sticky bombed the **** and turned the game off.

Doing some missions and messing around with some NTers was fun, but, I have a question for you guys that are still playing online...

What happens when you get all the money you need to buy the nice place, you buy some nice cars, mod them out, etc... Basically you get to the same point you were at in the single player once you beat the game where there isn't really anything left to do.

Are you just gonna play deathmatch, troll, do races, keep doing the same missions over and over for more money?

The single player story line was fun for me because it was actually a story, the missions were new and fun (pretty easy, but fun), and I saw my players come up in the world.

I really have no desire to play online any more because I always feel I'm just doing the same missions over and over for money and they are extremely easy. Then when I get the money I'm gonna buy the same houses and whips I bought in the offline? Feels like a big waste of time to me.

As more of a FPS shooter guy (and maybe that's why I feel this way), the game severely lacks replay value for me. And the online just seems pointless.

So my question, what is keeping you guys playing this game?

Bruh I have no idea what was going on. Dynamitehost was kickin everybody out of the plane I thought we were set for failure already haha.

I was laughing so hard, I couldnt remember if its press triangle or hold it down to get in without kicking the other person out. When he just slid off the wing I started crying. Im go pick up a headset later so I can talk.

ain't no way you played 500 missions.... as you rank up, they give you differen't/difficult missions.

Is the same for ANY game, literally...lol

Bruh how my body just melted off the wing of that plane....I was in tears man..

No, it's not.

Don't get me wrong I loved playing this game. BUT, this games online experience is the opposite of any game I have ever played, literally. It's a lazy reiteration of the single player.

I'm used to FPS or sports games where the game is primarily made for the online experience. You are pitted against other players who are constantly playing and improving their skills as you are so competition gets better and better. The single player of most FPS or sports game is usually the second priority of developers, who know that their target market wants the game for online play.

Now GTA is an exception because, until GTAV, there was no online mode. The single player was great because developers focused all of their efforts into the offline single player game. This is the reason consumers have bought GTA in the past. Because the great story and interactive world. That's why I bought this game.

So when the online version is a rehash of the offline, in the same world, missions are easier, no heists, you get money to get the same end game of cribs, cars, clothes, etc..., it's more collaborative than adversarial, hardly skill based.

It's cool to mess around and do some missions with friends on the mic for a few days but I've lost all interest.

what needs to save this game is actually being able to go in the casino to play BJ, Roulette, Poker against other members in your online world or just everyone in general.

its an open world game with lots to do and plenty of DL content that can be added as they wish, if a game like Simpsons Tapped out can be addicting, if this game follows that same formula i dont see how it can't have spectacular replay value, its like an evolving world, they can add season/holiday specific DL content, for halloween, xmas, easter, summer time, winter time, maybe some winter sports up in the mountains with artificial snow, so much they can do.....you guys simply burn yourselves out, trying to beat the game within the first week then complaint, find glitcvhes online to make millions to buy everything and then be bored when you dont find the game challenging....everyone is so focus on making money, trying doing the other missions....how many people have even parachutted once online?....

stop complaining, its just a game and if you dont find it fun you got issues.

I'm not complaining, just asking why you guys enjoy the online so much because yeah, I don't. I find the game fun but it got boring quick and I've moved on.

I just want a challenge. I have a more competitive nature than you so an open world game where you collaborate to play against a computer doesn't do much for me.

You like it, that's cool. I'm saying I loved single player like all GTA but don't see the point in online. You said the online experience was same as every other game. It's not. This is the first time it's ever been done before in GTA.

Online got stale quick for me so I have issues. Ok bro

i hate parachuting
L1 L2 when landing.
My new favorite thing, teabagging other people's vehicle when I kill them in lobby.
400

Other fun things to do:
Sticky bomb the "high priority import export vehicle" and don't set it off, until you see someone take it in your notification box.
Land a chopper, and sticky bomb it, wait till someone else steals it.
Block entrances to big apartment garages with a big truck, then blow it up.as long as you don't get into another vehicle it stays there..
With a bounty on me, chopper to the top of the building, then throw an airstrike flare down after everyone gathers.

Ive had the most fun playing those modes where its teams vs teams. Like Cops & Crooks or the one where you have to defend the cars in the airport garage. Hell even GTA races are fun imo. If Nters would actually accept the invites, these modes would be entertaining and hilarious with a full NT lobby. Ya survivals are nice to stack your paper, but im starting to get tired of it.

Yes! This is my point. I always invite to races and no one ever accepts. The cops and crooks mode is dope too. **** gets wild and unpredictable.

I guess what I was getting at is what is the point of playing against the computer online? Even if it is a collaborative effort with other players. Everyone wins but the victory isn't sweet without the occasional loss.

i usually play with a nice size group. it usually starts off with 3 of us and over a few games people slowly start to join.
